I think my problem is not knowing how to do things in a more relaxed manner. I'd still get them done, but wouldn't stress about it and rush. That's my downfall and I don't know how to change my brain and slow down
Spot on INOD
The office has oddly become a place where I'm relaxed and I wonder if that's because I'm just focussed on one thing and not rushing trying to get loads done. I actually felt quite alot better when I was there than being at home today.
Still got serious left eye twitching going on tonight and my left hip was doing it too  very weird.
I wonder if I ought to see the GP, beginning to think I need something just to get me through to the Christmas break. Work is full on up until then, next weekend is the mad one of the year (20 to lunch) and I'm worried that will make me really ill. I had to have a lay down about 10am this morning and all I'd done at that point was walk the dogs, made breakfast, pop out and do the business banking, make DS write a birthday card and read the meters. Panic was surfacing whilst driving, albeit very slow traffic, but kept that at bay with glugs of water and windows open for some fresh air (in 3C temps )
Sleep is my friend...so that's where I'm off to now.
But...I have to fix this somehow, I can't carry on like it for much longer. Thank you for bringing it up - I need to do something but I am not sure what :question:Back on the DFW Wagon:

Definitely see the GP Ali and if you have a multi-doctor practice like we do make sure you see a doctor you know and relate to. Whether you have something prescribed or not just talking to them about it can ease your mind a lot. It has for me a couple of times.......
.......and don't get too stressed about being the 'hostess with the mostest.' The fact that in your busy life you are doing all of this for these people should be more than enough for anybody
Brogden x0 -
Thanks Brogden - I will book a GP appointment tomorrow, it just needed someone to tell me to do it. Things seem to be jogging along ok then it spikes up again until the stressful period has passed and I can relax and do nothing for a little bit.
Already today, I've had a visual migraine and my old lower back problem has re-surfaced - so severe the pain takes my breath away and I just stand stock still.
At least the table is now laid. Need to check how long the meat needs in the oven as haven't switched it on yet :rotfl: Dinner could be late. I'm honestly at the point right now of saying to them take DS, here's some money and go down the road to a pub/restaurant for lunch.
So not wellSorry for offloading on here, no one to talk to in real life about it. Mum is poorly enough as it is.
I wish onwards and upwards would work for me today, but I know it won't. Need to rest but can't - stuff to do.Back on the DFW Wagon:

MIT, I wished you lived near me since you're offering.
Ali, in addition to the doc, from now to ny, only check nectar, meters, etc a max of once per week. I'm not saying to cut all your daily checks but scale back to your financials. I don't have time or inclination for surveys etc at present so just delete the emails every other day to give myself a break. Just reduce where you can and where it won't make you anxious. What are your plans for next weekend. I'm the queen of shortcuts so do your list, ket us all see what we can suggest. You're no use to anyone if you run yourself into the ground.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. INOD I wouldn't offer if I was 'actually' near :rotfl:. Joking of course. I agree. Stop with the daily checks and do them weekly. Cut yourself some slack Ali xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Ali sending hugs to you. Sorry you are feeling so rough. You've given such great support to me over the last few months, I wish I could pop round with MiT to help.

You lot are wonderful and thanks for your support :A
:rotfl: at MiT...
So, upshot was I popped some Naproxen, spaced myself out a bit, did dinner and got through the day with our visitors who've now gone. Clearing up done, dishwasher on and chilling until DS works out what he wants for tea :rotfl:
INOD - next weekend is my big one of the year - 20 people for lunch.
Things to do for it:
- housework (minimal, just the rooms that will be used so all of downstairs and upstairs bathroom and spare bedroom)
- more food/drink shopping
- put a very large turkey in the oven @ 6.15am
- set up dining room, moving easy chairs into lounge (Saturday afternoon as takes a good few hours)
- I think I need to buy a few cheap fold up chairs - short by 3 and patio set ones have fallen apart (were dodgy last year)
- get all crockery and serving dishes and wine glasses out and wash them all
This week the DIYers are here too, so I've got 3 days of extra for dinner and muffins to make...at some point. I've got a late finish at work tomorrow and Tuesday.
Things I'd like to do this week - take DS to the cinema, see a GP, have early nights so plenty of sleep.
So that leaves plenty of time to rest then..not :rotfl:
The financials are quick - pages are always open for IP and Nectar value and I've avoided their surveys for a good while too.
Hmm...a busy week all in all.Back on the DFW Wagon:
