Parking Eye - Aldi

Should you refuse to do this without proof of purchase, you are discriminating against her for having paid cash
I do not think that that is the case. Cash or card, they still provide a receipt.
Indeed but having bought a weeks shopping and eaten the food I think it's unreasonable to expect the customer to thereafter keep a receipt in case they get a punitive invoice for taking longer to do the shopping than they say you're allowed0 -

Remove that it doesnt sound rightProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0 -
more importantly, nobody should have to keep receipts given for proof of purchase for as long as it may take to ensure that you have not fallen foul of parking eye and received a ticket some weeks or months later !
it should not even be a requirement for parking there and these supermarkets etc have been found to have fallen foul of regulations like initial planning applications etc
but if this goes to popla and the appeal is upheld on the not a gpeol (or no contract) then its still quashed, as quashed is quashed no matter how it has been achieved, but the aldi principle of only allowing 1.5 hours to shop and enter and exit a car park, never mind this minimum spend or having a receipt is ludicrous
we understand they do it to ensure a high turnover of car park spaces, but sometimes its very draconian in its methods and can only alienate genuine shoppers

And the reason for that is Aldi's policy of building their stores on small parcels of land that the other supermarkets won't touch. So they end up with car parks that are too small to handle the number of customers that come through their doors. Additionally, they don't seem to have stock rooms that are big enough. Hence to pictures on their FB page of pallets of goods blocking the shop aisles. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Just pay up, it's not worth the hassle, including the hassle on here!A problem shared is a problem multiplied.
