Lomcevak, 2 hours 45 sounds fantastic - when is the marathon?
I got an early cut at work, nice to come home while it was still light (just). Clocks change in a fortnight, can't wait. I went for a nice long walk at lunchtime, loads of people out on Southbank etc, unsurprisingly. There's a very tiny beach near one of the bridges when the tide allows and I went down, peeled my shoes and socks off and dipped my feet in the Thames (which was very cold). Nice to be able to do that - it felt as if the summer had arrived.0 -

6th April - so 20 days to go now. I think i'm running about as well as I can hope to at the moment, so just need to stay healthy and fit now
Finally, finally, finally, started up the dreaded SIPP, so that's done and dusted - haven't quite decided on asset allocation yet but starting to formulate some plans there too. All very complicated at times this saving stuff :cool:0 -
Yes, it took me ages to decide on an Isa provider but I do think I made the right choice so glad I took the time to think it out properly.
Twenty days, not far to go.I guess you're looking forward to it, after all this training? ...
Anyway, in other news, today I've managed to squirrel away a further £73, so that puts my savings this year so far over £3,000, meaning I'm on track to reach £12,000 by the end of the year. Very pleased with that. There could be a bit more still for March but I've got to my target. Yay!0 -
As it happens I'm really close to losing all of that 5kg I was aiming to lose so it looks as though that chocolate hobnob celebration will be coming round sooner rather than later0

Yes, pretty pleased with how it's going so far
March was going to be a tricky month so it's good that I am managing to keep up. Re the weight loss, I think the flu bug I had helped,, actually.
I was saving £3 a day for a while into a jar and that added up surprisingly quickly. Might keep that up.0 -
Congrats on t he 3K!0
