Morning all.
Enjoyed the good sleep I had last night and I think all the clocks are changed :rotfl: It was so nice waking up to sunshine this morning instead of trying to stumble around in the dark.
Todays plan is to get all the laundry finished which includes clearing the ironing pile. DD is back to school tomorrow and most of her uniform is in the ironing stillI need to do some flinging, especially as my bin is nearly empty
Mr A delivery is due 12-1pm and then DD is being tasked with making up her packed lunch sandwiches to be frozen to save time.
Looking forward to getting stuck in tomorrow and getting the house sorted out again. I always find it difficult to fly when DD is home. Then I have errands Tuesday and work Wednesday through Friday.
I best shift myself otherwise I'll spend the whole day in front of Miss Marple & the laptop :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
Long time no 'see'Hope everyone is well x
Well it's half term and I would very much like to get some order to the chaos in my house and much more than that I would like to learn to enjoy it,lol!
Going to have an afternoon of making my kitchen look nice, on with the music
Much love,
Jenny xEverything happens for a reason0 -
hi everyone, not much done again!
Dd has been very poorly yesterday and today, i hope she is better by tomorrow we are going to blue dolphin and my dad has took pity on me and will drive us there and back whooop.
Saves getting the train with 3 kids and various bags, it means i can take my travel cot too which will be multi functional, bed at night jail during the day while i am getting ready/doing breakfast.
I have packed our clothes bag, just cot bedding, medicines, creams, toiletries, bits and bobs to snack on, bottles babymilk, plastic cups plates spoons for small people...... Quite a bit to do still i best get cracking.
Oh Christmas i cant wait, my family is huge so we just exchange cards and buy for our own children and OH's. We make more of an effort for birthday, spreads out the cost too.
I have ironed loads today. I am going to clean the kitchen and bathroom soon and hoover through out mop too so OH can just chill out while we are not here.0 -
FLYMEET TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER IN BIRMINGHAM
I have sent pms to those who registered an interest in meeting, giving further details. Please reply if you haven't already done so
If there is anyone else who would like to meet on Tuesday in central Birmingham then please pm me, or post your interest and I'll pm you the details.
The general plan is meet, eat & chat. It promises to be a great afternoon, to put faces to names.... and real names to fly-names! A chance to experience the wonderful advice and support on the flylady thread in the real world.
It would be lovely to see some new faces, go on, be brave and join us, even if just for a cuppa.
Frodders and I are staying overnight (not together, in case you were wondering) so if Wednesday morning is more convenient for you (before our trains home) then that can be arranged.

New lodger shown into cottage next door. Chalet visited and garden furniture shoved in the shed, laundry collected, rubbish binned, electricity turned off and water system turned off and drained. It was blowing an absolute hoolie over there. We were hoping to take Mrs Dog down to the beach, but we got as far as being able to see it and realised all the polution spume was all over the beach and I don't want that stuff on her, so we turned around and left. She didn't seem to mind at all.Better is good enough.0

Freezer cleaned out, spilled crumble mix swept up. Non-floor sweepings put aside for pear and blackberry crumble this evening which will please OH. Chalet occupants' freezer leavings squashed into ours which is good because we were out of peas and we're having whoopsied roast lamb tonight.
Washing from chalet sorted into huge piles. I have absolutely no idea when I will ever be able to do it all.Better is good enough.0 -
