Lots of chores in town done. Towels on the line as it's blowy her atm but I know it will rain so watching carefully!

I'm going to do HH Governor paperwork and then take a look at my list and see what is left to do.

I've just bought and ordered a few bits for DS1 for Christmas, all basics like PJs and things to finish his room like pictures. Not usually started before HT but saw a few reduced bits.

T Also Valli, although hopefully you're in a different and happier place. Anyway, you're both missed while you deal with things.
    You're all missed too!

Will get a bit done this morning then off to my voluntary job. It's certainly eye opening working in A&E. looks like relatives think its a good idea. I can make them a cuppa or chat if they wish or sit with people who have no one with them if they would like that. I was told it would be heaving on a Sunday and it was.

Much Respect, Boddy - helping people under stress is NOT easy; I'm sure they do appreciate it, though.

Wendy - sorry about the kittly. Lamewolf - kniot is for yourself and wear it wih pride and a HUGE sense of achievment. I bought woll to knit for a colleague's grandchild - goodness only knows if I will ever have the time (hopes for a snow day;))

Very busy, and full of cold. However I have been in work and I am at home today wfh doing planning etc. Just phoned and booked a 'flu jab. I will be around next week...by the end of next week I will know if this is going to carry on.

Managed to clean house this weekend. To my eternal (and, up to now secret, shame) there was a cobweb on the stairs ( a small one, but still) by a riser! It is very hard going. I leave work some evenings with the cleaner, at 7:30. and that's the time, in the morning, I leave the house.

Pretty Lamewolf: Would you knit it for us Flyladies, for us to see you in it in a photograph - head photographically chopped off to keep yourself anonymous if preferred? Pretty Please?
OK,:o I'll try and get my head round the webcam on the netbook - I managed to do a pic of me with Mary on my lap with it once, but that was a while ago. Don't hold your breath though, it may be a while - I'm taking Dusty's suggestion of a first target of having the back done by the end of November.;)
    Who's got rain again then?
Yep, we have here. I've just taken Ruby for her daily trundle out, between showers.:o Looks like the storm did some damage, as Mr LW got a text from his boss early (06:10) this morning saying to get to the office asap as there were "major problems" with the data centre - turns out there'd been a blackout, which has screwed up all the systems.

I've washed some underwear and a fluffy top, also done the bathroom mats, but they're having to dry on A-frames over the bath.

Need to give the loo a good scrub this afternoon.:( Cup of :coffee: first though.;)

I'm waiting to hear whether Mr LW will have to stay late tonight - as soon as he knows what's happening, he'll tell me. May need to play a little bit of piggery jokery with the meal plan.:o

Would you Adam-and-Eve it? The sun's just come out! I am so not playing Washing Hokey Cokey, though; it can stay on the A-frames.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Vinyl fitter eventually arrived, at 2.45  but the floor has finally been screeded! :j An evening of peeing in a bucket awaits us all, much to DH's disgust and DS2's delight :D Hopefully the new floor will go down tomorrow and I can get the bathroom back to rights.

ETA I have applied a paste of soda crystals and bleach to the mould-stained silicone sealant around the bath as recommended here (froddington?) so I will report back with results later ;)

House looks clean AND tidy, doubt it will last though as DH is now on holiday. Tomorrow we need to pack suitcases, Friday I am working, then I have to drop my boys to Wales, drive home then pack the car and drive to Heathrow! Good job we are flying business class as I think I will need to catch up on some zeds on Saturday.
