Morning all
if it's gone from the lists, it's done.
Today's list may be put off till tomorrow as we need to take a trip to collect my sisters spare bed, she's a 30/45 min drive away and am hoping to bath my nephew (for the first time) while I'm there so that will likely be our evening gone. On the plus side I'll have a proper spare room with bed :T
Lamewolf I may be relatively new to the thread and not know your story but it sounds to me like it's about time you did a little something for yourself. I like the idea of setting daily or weekly targets to get your waistcoat done. The wool sounds lovely and it'll be a nice festive present to yourself.
Hugs, spoons and vibes where needed

Morning Flyladies :hello:
I've been a busy bee this week; LR, kitchen and our bedroom have all been gutted, laundry has been done to the point I have half a load in the basket and all ironing is finished. The bathroom suite is clean but the floor is still bare  as apparently there has been a self-levelling compound shortage across the West Midlands and it's taken the vinyl fitter over a week to get any?! Sounds like BS to me but anyway, he's finally due today between 12 and 1 :T
I'm off to slap some dye on my hair to declutter my greys and roots before he arrives. When he's here I will have a Fred catch up and do some knitting0 -
Morning all.
Spent the whole of yesterday on the laptop looking through gift threads on here. Finally decided on who's getting what except for my nephew, my parents & DD (although I have ideas....)
Today is the day we're tackling DD's bedroom. Going to juggle some bits around and see the best way of fitting things in with her new-to-her bed. At the moment it appears to be toyboxes which are going to be homeless as DD is going from a frame bed to a divan and they've always been stored under her bed.
I have work this evening and I need to fit a bath in before I go out. Roll on next week and DD being back at school, holiday days just seem to disappear and I seem to get very little achieved.I guess I best get a move on otherwise I won't get anything done.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Kitchen wiped over, sink cleaned, my bedding in the washing machine. Since the bathroom was attacked yesterday I am off out to avoid further confrontation with teenage son, need to find somewhere indoors mind you as the weather's still rotten!RIP Iain

Thank you Pigpen, it was exactly what I thought it would be, but much, much funnier. I'm taking it that's Squeak back from nursery and Dot resenting sharing. Fab. And people wonder why I don't mind not having kids - some of the time.
Congratulations on Tiny's first laugh, Roxy. I quite like them when they laugh.
And also big congratulations to Dusty's DS1. Very reassuring to know the backstop position is secure.
I'm going to spend yet another day dealing with the filing cabinet. The more flinging I do, the easier it gets. One of the files yesterday that got filleted is the Household file, and I found a note of the date of my first post on the Flylady thread in June last year, making the commitment to myself to face up to it. It made me realise how weighed down I used to feel by all the clutter, grubby corners, piles of stuff waiting to be sorted and general grot. If I'd known what a difference just spending five minutes whenever made, instead of thinking I had to do it and keep it all perfectly all the time, the house would never had overwhelmed me in the way it did. Lesson permanently learned. Thank you to all Flyladies, past and present.Better is good enough.0 -

Meet at mid-day ish - frodders what time does your train arrive? Mine's about 11.30 I think, will double check though.
Good point re allergies, I have none, anyone else?
ionafan thanks for all the info :A
Depending on the final count of adults & children I will post more definite info.
It's dry here (first time this week!) and very windy so I think I'll chance hanging washing on the line.
Hope everyone has a good day.*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Phew. 3 loads of washing folded now. Next loads in TD and WM. just necked a coffee. Just going to put the last little bits of washing away (DD's) before I stuff the ironing on the sofa and try to tackle the blasted Hoover.
My carpet is so grubby it's untrue. If I manage to get the Hoover sorted then I can whip around quickly with the vax and that will be the lounge lovely. Right.
HHC from 12 anyone?
Grr. Belt's snapped on Hoover. Now need to get another oneand fit it
.
ETA: belt changed. That was a job and a half. Carpets in longe and DR vaxed. Filthy water removed. When decorating's finished I'm getting a man with a machine in to do them!
Quick coffee before kid collect and then we have to empty DD's room for DH decorating later.
