Me too! Had the very same happen with the cardigan I got on behalf of my mum, only to find it reduced the very next day.
I didn't return it and re-order the discounted one, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it going forward now.
Hope you found the receipt MooBack on the DFW Wagon:

Hi all
VERY quick update from me today and with an apology for being missing in action for the whole week. I've been laid low with a throat infection and feeling rotten. I'm not 100% but am off to London for the weekend anywayNon-refundable tickets are playing their part in that decision
Money stuff
Food: £57.85
Current account: £70 (have withdrawn cash for London trip)
Savings: £2325.57  Thanks to a VERY generous and not-refusable contribution from family for my holiday in March.
I'm off to London with £110 and hope to keep within that budget. I'll count the next three days as NSDs if I do
Hope everyone is keeping well and I'll be back with a vengeance next week!0 -

Oh boo - there must be a lot of it about north of the border, first Pippi's flu, then your throat, and now I believe another mutual chum of ours has a chest infection too.
