    Wages last month: £1759.87

    Wages today: £1478.93

    Difference: -£280.94

I've transferred £1060 to cover all my bills including food and have paid £18.93 to my savings account, which leaves £400 for all other expenses for the month. Today will be a spendy day because I need to withdraw money for all of my bus fares/tea spending for the month (£45 total) and because I'm going to the pictures tonight so that'll cost extra for the 3D.

    Accounts

    Current account: £400
    Food account: £200
    Car account: £302.66
    Christmas/birthdays: £56.86

It's not looking too bad today and the difference in wages isn't as much as I had feared, so I'll need to check my payslip carefully when it turns up ;)

I popped in briefly to Boots on wednesday night, found they had nothing I wanted, and left again. The Body shop sale today however was a different matter, but on the bright side I have enough shower gel for several people for about the next year! :D

It's been a busy, busy day

I've done Costco, Sainsbury's and Asda, and have spentover £60   I will have enough chicken to last the month though and I needed to get more binbags as I have never been able to find better than the ones they do in Costco. The ones I bought today should last for six months so they're worth a tenner ;)

I still need to go to Aldi sometime, but will possibly send Mr Mooo tomorrow and then pay him on Monday when I have a spend day planned anyway :rotfl:

Nectar points are rising slowly but surely - I have 75 Adpoints this week and 72 earned in Sainsbury's today thanks to a double points voucher.

Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend :D

Is that a record for supermarkets in one day? :rotfl:

Liking your Aldi shopping strategy, sounds like another gem for the share-a-shop scheme :D

Well done on the nectar points, I've just found another 4 adpoints, so 72 for me this week.

    Savings: £1472.19

Another £20 mortgage overpayment went out of my account today, I just need to check at the bank what's happening with these. I got one letter after the first overpayment that seemed to indicate that they were reducing the monthly payment and I really want the term to decrease. I must try and remember to check this when I'm in town later.

Nectar balance is up to 2346/£11.73. I've managed to get a few surveys this week which has helped a lot. I got the tags through the post for the Oxfam/Nectar tie-up so that will help with the decluttering too if I can get my butt in gear :)

Ahhhhh I seem to (vaguely) remember this happening to someone else - and when they queried it with the bank they said this is what happened

Not sure what bank it was or what the outcome was :o - sorry that really wasn't very helpful!

I know that, with mine, it shows separately on my mortgage statement (maybe something like a little savings pot) and just decreases the total amount owed

Yesterday I went out and about and did a few bits and pieces. I returned my faulty trainers (£37.50 back on the credit card) and bought a new pair (£27.79, making a profit of £9.71!) I went to Pounland and bought a few bits and pieces including brown paper as I use it a lot when selling on Ebay/Facebook.

That purchase of brown paper made me think "Hmmm....I wonder what old craft stuff I could sell" which in turn made me set up a one-off Facebook event which over 100 people attended. I made sales to 28 people and, before postage costs have been taken off, over £400   Given that I haven't even dented what's in the craftroom, that should give you a hint about my crafting obsession :o

I gave people the option to pay by Paypal or bank transfer (I know a LOT of these people from the crafting community to it's a way to avoid Paypal fees, especially on large sales) There's already been £44 paid in to my bank account from sales, so that can be used to cover the first round of postage - I'm going to end up moving in to the Post Office I think! I have a balance of £95.45 in my Paypal account already :D I've withdrawn that this morning too.

Not a lot else to report this morning (I think that's plenty to be honest, haha!)

Nectar adpoints have reset and I've watched 14 points worth this morning. I need to concentrate on getting parcels ready though. My balance is up to £11.73/2346 points.

Wow, well done, what a fantastic amount in one day :T Craft room turned gold mine - what a great way to replace (and surpass) the income lost from your contract.

I did Adpoints late last night, can't remember the content, but racked up 47 points and then slept well :rotfl:

While I remember, part of my £6 spend in Poundland yesterday went on two DVDs - they had LOADS of comedy ones for (obviously) £1 each. I got a Ross Noble (£6 on Amazon) and a Russell Kane one (£3.46 on Amazon but I saw the show at the Fringe and it's a corker!). The Ross Noble one is for Mr Mooo but the other is for the Christmas pile.

There were others too - Michael McIntyre, Andy Parsons and someone else whose name I forget!
