No, definitely not. I think it is silly.

Also, as others have said, can you even begin to imagine how many boys are now going to be called George? Think of something more original
The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie

    No.

We've had pets at the same time who for confusing reasons had the same names, and its hard enough.

I'd name a child after a loved and deceased pet though.

No, I wouldn't. My son's name (Olly) seems popular as a dog's name though.

I bet not as popular as Felix or Tiger for a cat though ;)

I read that but couldn't even begin to imagine how it's said, but it looks an awful lot like gay orgy.

Call the cat georgie and your son George. Your son will be around for longer than the cat

My brother told me they were thinking of calling their son Oliver. My reaction was 'What, after the cat?' :rotfl:

Apparently they just liked the name, hadn't really considered it was the same as the cats name :rotfl:

My nephew was born and named Ben :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Bùgger. That's my middle name, and I will think of this every time I use it from now on. Thanks a lot :)
