I wish my ex fianc! had took someone (such as my best mate or my mom) to pick out my ring rather than him picking it himself – the mount the stones were in was so large that it would catch on jumpers when I was getting dressed and would scratch me when I was rolling over in my sleep!
  • BoP will now interrupt for the Hard of Living.

Boy met Girl. 10 Year back.

Boy decides to waste his money on ring for girl, asking Girl's dad for hand in marriage.

He worked day and night, even flitting abroad for a while to save up money for runcible spoon and boat. Eventually, all cohorts excpet girl plaod off to jewellers and select ring. Jeweller makes ring.

One day a little later, while driving a car, Jeweller rings up. and girl answered the phone. Girl told Jeweller that Boy was busy (driving) and Jeweller let cat out of bag.

Things are not happy, but Boy and Parents want expensive ring for free.

It is understood they may have had intercourse before the wedding day!

You just made that up didn't you?
All you need at a registrar office wedding is witnesses, not someone to pass the responsibilty for the bride over like they are property.

:rotfl:Ha Ha - no I think the answer is more to do with my signature. And if I remember rightly I think you were the person who made my signature comment.:rotfl:

This is the first time I have posted on here. I was looking for opinions, not abuse.

You've had lots of opinions, but no abuse. (People disagreeing with you isn't abuse.) I'm not certain the jeweller had any business discussing it with you as you aren't the customer.

Personally, I'm really turned off by feminism. I think feminism has done as much harm as it has good. Some women also like to play the sexism card when it's totally uncalled-for ;)

But that's of course taking the thread completely off-topic.

I'm not sure feminism is meant to be arousing to be honest :rotfl:

Try replacing the word feminism with equality in your post.

I would absolutely just die with embarrassment if my Mum was here, talking about me using my full name, like this.

Aren't Daniel & Michelle pretend names?

  • Bahahaha, the rings for free? I'll have a go on your crackpipe when you're done.

They owe you nothing, an apology is all they have to give. If you'd have told me to give you the ring for nothing, I'd have refunded you and told you to get stuffed.

    They should do the same.

Well at least I can be glad I have given you some amusement.

Yes, that's the true meaning of feminism. Not the whinging carp some of the users on here seem to post... incessantly :rotfl:
