Thanks to OP for great bargain. Good luck to those still waiting - here's hoping that some of us get lucky!
Pity Viking did not honour their word, rather their website and email. Ordered, delivery was confirmed for within 48 hours, with no back-orders. Received email to confirm order and delivery.
Next day, received email stating that items are now back-ordered, and cannot be delivered. Then got a phone call stating that this was a misprice, and do I want them for 50 quid each? No, thank you. Order cancelled.
Not ordering from Viking again. Have told about a dozen friends, who are also going to avoid Viking.0 -

at a total cost of £649.69p .
No phone call . no emails !
I see a big Visa card chargeback coming if they deduct the full amount, this could be interesting .

Had a fone call from them this morning, 8.45am!

I said cancelled it and she started the cancellation process. I got a email to tell me this.:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
Well I received a phone call this afternoon saying that it had been a misprice and my order had been cancelled , this was literally 5 mins after speaking to a guy who said they had been dispatched and should be with me today or tomorrow . So I rang my friend who also placed an order and left her a message on her ansaphone saying she wouldn't be getting hers . She then text me to say she had had an ansahone message from Viking saying the same thing , misprice etc etc order cancelled . 30 mins later she has a knock at the door and standing there is the courier with her phones ! She has checked her bank and £50 hasn't been deducted but she will keep an eye on it all week . Where does she stand if they do take more than the £9.26 she agreed to pay ? She will go overdrawn and charged if they take more than the above .Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

Get back under your stone slimeball !
How the hell can ordering 7 in one order for family and friends be greedy ?
Easier to order in one lot as I have an account rather than 6 others having to open one to get the same item !
As I have an account and order lots of items I have some leverage.
Bet I have the last laugh !0 -

If you can prove that the contract price was £15.16, wait for the phones to arrive and then contact your bank. If you can't prove the contract price, reject the goods under Distance Selling Regs.
I'm sure it's been done to death here, but Loss of Bargain may apply
BTW, phones are probably worth a tenner, but not much more, buzzing is annoying.0 -
