Has anyone else actually got the phones deliverede? So far it only seems to have been one person

I got a phone call to say that there was a misprice but I could have the set at £50 (i.e. they are still in stock). I declined but the operator said that if I spotted anything else in the catalogue then they'd see what they could do on price. They then cancelled my order. Ok so far.

Then I see that at least one person has had the phones delivered. So I wait a while and then call back saying I've seen a product I'm interested in. They offer me a measly discount which I turn down, and I then go on to say that it's questionable practice to advertise a product at a certain price but only honour some of the orders. If, I say, they had refused all orders then fair enough, they've no obligation to sell, but it's rather dodgy to fulfil some orders and not others. What, I asked, were the selection criteria for those that benefited from the deal?

They wriggle and squirm with this for a minute or two saying it doesn't work like that (maybe it doesn't but I think it's a fair enough question) before stating that they're out of stock of the triple-pack anyway so the whole thing's off. I find this hard to believe, I say, since only half and hour ago I was offered the pack at £50. They are a bit stumped by this comment. And so on.

Anyway, I can live without their phone (I certainly don't need three at this point anyway, although my handset's buttons are rather knackered), so I left it there before I wasted my time with an all-out row.

Viking won't be getting any future business from me. I completely understand that they have margins to protect and a company to run, but the way they appear to twist and turn their story to suit the moment doesn't impress me.

Well done to those who got their phones and good luck to those with their fingers crossed.

Vikings own courier as far as I can make out often the way if you near city (I am at the mo in Norfolk 26 miles or so from Norwich.)

Just had an email to say it was a clearance item and no longer available. I wont be getting mine!

Mine cancelles on the website "stock discontinued" - no email as yet. Oh well, another potential bargain missed.
