  • House spotless, nails done and been to my wee aunties for lunch. Ended up hoovering and steam cleaning all her floors. She doesn't keep well and has had a ramp fitted this week so everywhere had cement dust over it. Couldn't have left her with that mess poor soul. All clean now though.

Spent £10 on my nails but no other spends today so not too bad. I got a shelac french polish with a wee gem and they look lovely.

Dinner is almost ready and we are all starving as it is late due to me helping said Aunty.

DS has cuddled me about a hundred times so far. I reckon he is going to miss his Mum. Doesn't do them any harm to be reminded that we don't entirely belong to them. DD got the part time job in the pub. She has an induction day next Saturday and then will start a week later. She is really delighted as she says she has nothing else to worry about now for university. I'm really pleased for her as this all means she should be able to keep her wee car.

So all is good and hopefully stays that way. xx

Excellent MiT - everyone around you sorted and you can head off on your holidays and have a fabulous time. :j

I've broken the no sweet treats finally today - some donated home made fudge, was delicious though. Trying not to eat it all now and make it last :rotfl:

Have a great break and look forward to hearing all about it.

  • enjoy the holiday and try not to worry too much about the offspring. well done to dd on the job. both of mine did bar work and have always been able to get employment of some sort on the back of it. also, when they are working, they aren't partying. bet your two will be impeccably behaved just to prove how trustworthy they are!

  • Ali I forgot to report on my NST :A lol

INOD they will be fine. They'll work hard at proving how clever and grown up they are but they will fight all week I'm sure . My brother just lives up the road from us though so if any of them have had enough then they can bail out for a while. DD will be at her BF's and work and DS will hopefully be studying and has an exam on Thursday. Fingers crossed they will be busy enough that they will not kill each other :D
