  • I am back :(. Had an awesome time with brilliant friends. Not a cross word spoken by anyone and we had a blast. Good food, good wine, great vodka, cider, beer, zambucca :rotfl: I could go on but will stop there. Really good fun. I'm exhausted now.

Went to rock club and gig was cancelled. Walked into the bar it was on and I ran into my old boss. My pals were flabbergasted as they say we can never go anywhere without me knowing someone or being related to someone. I think they thought I was taking the mickey until I stopped for a blether :rotfl:

I was a bit of a rebel whilst I was away and got a tattoo . I've always wanted one so here it is and I love it.

It's my kids initials and girl has pink points in the star and boy has blue.

I even got chatted up !! Guy was chatting to me at the bar and than came and joined us at table. Said he was from New York and was a gynaecologist. I said really and he said No but I'll be happy to have a look for you  I did laugh though as was so funny. I declined his kind offer.

So I spent all 300 euros that I took and £100 in cash. I brought the kids some things and bought myself a bottle of vodka and a bottle of aromatics perfume. I have spent £12 tonight on a chippy for dinner and that's it. The spending now stops.

So over the weekend I will put some plans in place and get started. I have 16 weeks until Alcudia and I want to ensure that I get my spending money sorted out in cash along with any other money I need to spend. My pal had 40 euros left so I am buying them from her for £32.00 and that will be me started. I reckon 300 will be more than enough again so I have 260 to get. I will manage that no bother ( I hope)

So all in all everything is okay and I'm glad to be home

:T:T Excellent MiT - Rock God wasn't quite up to scratch then :rotfl:

Hark at you - rebel indeed with your tattoo :D

Well done on the spends and hope the kids have been good whilst you've been away. Have you come home to a newly decorated lounge and tidy/clean house? ;)

  • Hi folks

Ali, the kids were great whilst I was away. House was shining when I got back. I think they missed me a lot :o. Told them they best get used to it though as I will definitely be away more often. Lounge not decorated as DD wants to paint outside the house and budget will not stretch that far.

Been working this morning and earned £32.50. Spent £6 in McD's and £15 in co-op. I wanted some nice salad stuff for dinner.

Weighed myself this morning and am still the same. Still no NST :j:j. I did have profiteroles 1 night on hols as a pud but refused every other time and also had a choc ice but I am bloody pleased with that as there were sweets and chocolate galore in the apartment. I just bought fruit and we had nice healthy breakfasts. Not so healthy dinners but must have been okay. I walked for miles as well so it was all good.

So the sun is shining beautifully here today and I am heading out into the garden soon for a wee top up of my tan. I hope this weather stays a while but forecast is for our usual rain in a couple of days. So we need to make the most of it whilst it is here.

Hope you are all having a fab day xx

  • £298 sent to my friend's account to pay for Alcudia. That's final payment. I 'll have £230 in my holiday funds by the time I go away and I have 40 euros already so I will be fine for spends as well. It's all good stuff folks :D

Am now away to pay the £32 for the euros I owe my friend and I will be free and clear.

  • Ran a mile more like PLMBL :p. I'm a coward. I'm loving my tattoo as well. Can't wait until it is properly healed so I can see it clearly. It was a tad sore getting it done but one that size only takes about 10 minutes so it's over and done with before you know it.

I'm tired today despite my 10 hour sleep. I hardly got any sleep all week as my friend is such an early riser she was up at about 6 every morning and onto the balcony. I was sleeping in the lounge so she woke me every morning. It drove me nuts . I think I got about 5 hours every night and I need about 7 per night and I usually have more at the weekend. So I still have some catching up to do.

Going to chill tonight and try and catch up with some telly and diaries. xx

I have just done a cupboard and freezer inventory and I am mortified at how much food I have in this house. I am going to list it so that when I am tempted to overbuy I can check back to this post and reel myself in. • Just counted up my spends for May and Dear God I really am a lost cause:rotfl:

Spends are £1882.27. I don't even know how I managed to spend that as that's almost what I get in in a month and I also paid my monthly accounts which are about £1200. I know I have added money to CC so I am a bit sick about that.

£460.00 was for food, non essential lunches and days/nights out

So I am setting myself a budget this month of £350 for food, lunches and social life. I am out tomorrow and am taking my wee Aunt for lunch on Thursday but have nothing else booked. I have allowed a generous budget but I have more chance of keeping to it then.

Here we go, here we go, here we go.............onwards and upwards folks as at this rate I cannot get much worse :(

The food inventory is a fab gateway to reducing the food budget. You won't need to buy too much I'd have thought and defo write each week's meal plan before you go food shopping - try and buy what you need for the whole week if you can so plan stuff with fresh veg at the beginning of it when you do the shop and then no unplanned spends that pop up with a top up shop. :D

Well done on the NSTs, that is fantastic going especially with the holiday. :T I'd have fallen off the wagon, well more rolled, with all that lot available :rotfl:

Alcudia is beautiful and great you're all sorted funds wise for that. :T

Hope you had another long sleep and are catching up a bit on that now. :):)
