  • SS thanks for luck :D

Yep DS was a grand boy until he dropped all his clothes on bathroom floor and his wet towels. Obviously thought the fairies were coming in last night to clear up after him. Well this fairy dragged him back out his bed to sort it out himself :o. Bad Mother badge to me this week.

So started new job today and I love love loved it :D. Day passed in a complete whirl. Very very busy and didn't clock watch at all ( which I had been doing all the time) Managed to keep on top of everything as well so it's all good. Came home full of life and cooked a curry, cleared up kitchen, hung up washing and did 2 hours ironing. It made me realise just how much my last job was dragging me down. I was exhausted at the end of the day and collapsed in a heap when I got home after making the dinner. I am working on the 3rd floor and climbed up an down the stairs all day and also have eaten healthily all day except for some cream in the curry. I hope this continues as I am feeling fab-u-lous :D. hat

No spend today but will need to lift money tomorrow to pay my lottery in work and £40 towards our Christmas day dinner. A luxury indeed but I am going to negate that cost as I am not going to do a big food shop for Christmas. I end up eating it all as kids have tonnes of sweets so they're not interested in what I have.

So I hope everyone has had as good a day as me :D

  • Another smashing day in the MIT world :D. Really enjoying job and its busy busy busy. Did a long day today as used flexi last Friday to go to Southport and have a couple of hours to make up. Didn't even feel like a hardship tbh. Happy MIT :D

I spent £47.80 today. £2.80 on juice for week ( i am addicted :o) I buy it in Watt Bros as it is cheapest there. I don't even try not to buy it as the few times I have done that I end up paying £1.15 per bottle instead of the 35p it costs from Watt Bros. I paid £5 lottery and £40 to Christmas lunch. Was going to buy wool in Watt Bros but SIL hasn't sent me sizes for kids yet so had no clue how much to buy. I'll need to chase her up.

So DD made dinner as I was late home. Just fish fingers and oven chips, but it was yum yum. I have cleared up. DS has emptied all the bins and taken them out for collection. Washing is folded and moved around the radiators and I am now on the couch and I refuse to move except to pee ( which since I have started dieting again I am doing frequently :rotfl:) Fireworks are going crazy, despite the rain lashing down. I am going to have a nice bath and an early night as car in for its service tomorrow and I need to leave mega early so my niece can pick me up from the garage. So another long day to be had in work tomorrow but that's ok as I lurve it.

    Hope everyone is well xx

    Good morning :)

Glad to see you sounding so upbeat with the job situation :D

Know what you mean about the debt, never seeming to go down and always something that has to be spent on, but you have such great determination sure you will get there :D

  • Baldybear I am determined that once I get Christmas by I will hammer the debt down.

Job still fab but am shattered tonight. Traumatic day. Car was in for a service and they called me saying 2 new tyres £180 ( it's a micra) £65 plus vat to replace wheel trim ( it's plastic) and £16.40 for a fuel flush thing. Needless to say I decline. The car is only a year old .

Went into supermarket on way home and they were selling condensed milk reduced so being height challenged I reached up to the top shelf and pulled the box as it appeared empty. It wasn't  and 6 tins fell on me. Bust lip, sore tooth, black eye, numb nose and feel rubbish now. Traumatised :rotfl:All for the sake of 25p off :o. I am dedicated to the cause.

Quiet night tonight and going to watch masterchef xx

  • Evening folks. Am ok. Nice cut above my lip. Sore face and neck but could have been a lot worse. I'm going to drop a wee e-mail to Morrisons tonight and point out how dangerous this was. Am fine though and will never do that again, SS I make awesome tablet :D.

Went to docs this morning re sore side. Not been too bad recently but she is sending me for more bloods and another scan as possibly an inflammatory issue as well as the IBS. If no joy then she is going to refer me to a specialist. At least I will get some answers and will hopefully be able to control the symptoms better. But as I say, thankfully minimal pain for a couple weeks now :D.

NSD today. My favourite type of spending

Car apparently needs monthly checks for the front tyres. The depth should be 1.6mm and mine are at 3mm. Sounds good to me at practically double the minimum. Chancers :rotfl:

Just had awesome shepherds pie and sweetcorn for dinner. Been healthy eating since Monday so feeling good about that. Chicken out for a casserole tomorrow. DS loves meat so we have quite a meaty diet most nights. I buy it in bulk to make things a bit cheaper but still quite expensive.

So a lazy night tonight as been a busy busy day. Still thoroughly enjoyable even though a charming customer called me a 'useless f'ng B' thanked him for his feedback and hung up lol

  • Ooh you had a real silver tongued charmer there! :rotfl:

Well done for getting back on the healthy eating bandwaggon! I honestly feel so much better for doing the same. Mind you, I made 'super speed soup' yesterday and despite it being totally gorgeous it should come with a warning. Or at least a free loo roll :rotfl: Xx
