  • I think he has learned so fingers crossed we will have no further issues. He has been talking constantly about it all and has now given me his word that he will never do anything like this again. I think he now realises how serious this all is.

I am stretched so much PLMBL that I am just glad for the slackening of the purse strings this week. I bought us triple choc cookies :o.

I used my £20 vouchers from Morrisons to buy a bed set for DS and new shower curtains. Stuck in my throat a bit to spend it on DS but really needed them.

Spent £114 in Morrisons and £48 on petrol. Had to use my card as had no cash. To be honest I spent that much money as I am fed up. Everything will be used but we honestly didn't need a quarter of it. I obviously have a spending issue when I am down. I spend to feel better and I am also a comfort eater. I need to stop this. Hopefully life will settle again soon.

Sitting on couch now watching ripper street and just chilling. Hope everyone is good xx

  • I watched with DS and other than saying ooo and aaah I was banned from talking. Was fab :D

I think I have broken my toe this morning . I have a wooden blanket box outside my bedroom door and I banged it on that. Now very swollen and painful :(. Sitting on couch with my foot up and DD making me breakfast. I'm not moving today unless necessary. We had intended heading to Dobbie's as well for a girly day out. Oh well! I'd just have spent money so probably a good thing. Will no doubt be a NSD now so all is well.

Going to do some telly catch up so I'll be back later xx

Ouch to the toe, Have a teenage DS myself and lately have to bite my tongue when "talking" to him, has his mock gcse's and hasn't even revised. Been through this with my other DS's so don't know why I worry. I don't expect fantastic results but know he can get at least "c",s hopefully. Just wish he had more confidence in himself.

Just think in ten years time some other parent will be going through what we are going through now and hopefully we will have come out the other side unscathed .x

  • Amber I do hope so as my hair is getting greyer by the day. My DD was no bother and is still great. She listens to reason mind you :rotfl:.

Been looking at cup cake recipes all night as I intend to make them for all the aunties etc for Christmas to try and save a bit of cash. Some look totally delicious so I am going to have a trial run this week for a few of them and see how they go. I will get the family to test them at the weekend whilst we are away. I'm sure they will be willing tasters :p

  • Teenagers  Can be awful sometimes! Hope things are improving on that front? I bet hes on his best behaviour this week ;)

Hope the toe is better today.

    Hows the new job going?

    x
  • Hi Princess. New job is great still really enjoying it. Toe is a good bit better. I'll try driving tomorrow. Need to drive to DS's school and see if they let him back in:eek:. I called them today and requested that they got all his class work for the last few days and he can catch up on that on Thursday and Friday instead of enjoying the teacher training days. He has not been out since last week nor has he had any internet access or phone. I have literally cut him off from the world and he is going stir crazy. Much much nicer child though. I am drowning in tea :rotfl:. Hopefully once we have been to the meeting at the school tomorrow then life can get back to normal.

My debt is going in the wrong direction again. I am just struggling massively just now. Once Christmas is past I am going to change things big time and start again. I am being silly just now with money and although I still rarely buy anything I spend way too much on food and carp. Has to stop :mad:

Am not very organised about Christmas either and no doubt debt will increase yet again. Quite stressed just now tbh but am hoping once I sort DS out and then see doc on Thursday re my kidney stones and other symptoms then I will feel better, I am a stress spender along with overeating and both are upsetting me :mad:. Bloody weans!! Bloody health !! Bloody money !! Pah

Seriously though, fingers crossed this has scared him so much that he starts behaving at school. Or decides he cannot live without technology. Either way hope he bucks his ideas up.

Once he goes back that's one less stress to worry about. Get Xmas out of the way and then come Jan you know you can do it when you put your mind to it as you have before. I have every faith

    xx
