Well have great time at sons birthday my daughter is 16 and leaves schoolthis spring maybe its different in scotland ? Redunancy deal sounds very good i think id go for it for two reasons one as it would instantly solve all your problems and you would definately get another job somewhere even if its not what your qualified for and second reason i always think companies that make reduncies are not doing very well and may in the future just get rid of you anyway and deal may not be as good but i understand a very difficult decision0

Kitty my company is the government and we all know how well they are doing :rotfl:.
Smashing wee day out with DS and his pal. They loved the karting and had a turn in the laser tagging as well. We then had pizza hut. Spent about £120  but he has been told that that will be his final BIG day out for his birthday as he is now an adult. Don't think he was overly chuffed at that but tough.
So just going to tidy round then chill. Back to work tomorrow but only for 1 week then off for another weekHappy days. xx

Dd1 was 16 in November, she is planning to go to college in a nearby city. Hopefully we can get some help with the fares. I didn't treat her to a special gift this year she will have to wait until 18 for that. If fact we still owe her £50 of her birthday money
. She may be a demanding madam but she is good in that she understands that we do what we can.
I second the redundancy option. I may be counting pennies still downgrading my job and going bankrupt but jts worth it not having the debt cloud hanging over our heads:j0 -
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I went to college last year and at uni now but don't get help with fares - maybe it depends on course but SAAS just expects me to pay them out of my loan/bursaries.Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

SS at least it will be his responsibility to pay then and not mine
. Would obviously help if I needed to and I also work near the college so he could get a lift at times. KP DS would probs be the same but I am just rubbish at saying no. It is a word I need to learn and fast.
Am actually feeling motivated and looking forward to getting started.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

PLMBL I have been at the moneysaving lark for so long there's not much that I don't already do. Just spoke to my friend who has a cleaning company and she has offered me £65 on 27th for 4 hrs work as she has a huge house to get cleaned. I hesitated but will text her and tell her to count me in. It's a good wee start and I need to be doing as much as I can. I'll have a wee look though and see if there's any new stuff xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
