  • Evening all. What a great day we have had. Kids and I put on our crimbo jumpers and headed out into the rain and sleet to do deliveries and pick up a few last minute things. Shops were okay and we had a cheeky wee McD's to sustain us.

My gifts of cakes were met with smiles and lots of oohing and aahing ( must admit they looked great). I tidied up and hoovered for my wee aunty and wrapped up a few gifts for her so she was left very happy. Went up to the cemetery but it was pitch black and sometimes homeless folks sleep up there so we turned about and I will go back tomorrow.

I've felt great again today and am taking full advantage whilst I can. Washing is on and I am going to do another couple of loads to clear my basket.

Unfortunately my overdraft is now over £700 and that will be the first thing I will be concentrating on after Christmas as it costs me £1 per day whilst I'm overdrawn which will be most of the month I reckon as the majority of my standing orders come out at the beginning of the month. Never mind as SS said this will be the worst it will ever be and I just need to start again :o

  • Good morning folks. What a miserable day it is here today. I was going to head up to the cemetery today but might just hold off and have a pyjama day and chill out. Am going to make some more tablet and watch trashy Christmas films :D.

Feels strange not cooking this year but must say it's rather nice. Will be great to just have a nice easy Christmas day and enjoy everyone's company and a wee drink. My brother is on call so will be driving. I have given my SIL an extra £40 so that will cover drinks as well as the food so no spends at all.

So not much else to report but am poised and ready to go ASAP on the moneysaving front.

  • Boak !! Just picked DD up from Calvin Harris and Tiesto gig and the smell from her and her friends was disgusting. She smelt like a toilet. Some skank threw a bottle of pee on her. The smell is in my nose now and I may never get rid of it EEW!!

Been so lazy today but enjoyed my day loads. Watched 3 Christmas films and caught up with loads on my replay list. Square eyes tonight. Knitted a sleeve of the wee jumper I'm knitting and then pulled jeans on top of my pj's and went and collected DD. Lazy moo award to MIT today. I'll need to shake my shimmy tomorrow though and sort myself out :rotfl:. Happy Christmas Eve folks xx
