£19,029.39 with a date of May 2021.
Well I have excelled myself this time. I was nearly under £10K and look at me now. Round of applause to MIT for being the biggest F**kwit in the country. I am disgusted with myself. However I am not going to dwell on it I am just going to deal with it as quickly as I can. First priorities are to get budget under control and to pay off overdraft as it is most definitely my most expensive debt. Tally ho here we go5 Year plan. Right I have had a good start. I used a £15 voucher I got for Christmas and paid out £25.11 and got 3 birthday pressies that I had budgeted £60 for. So a saving of £35 :-).
2 t shirts for the guy. Both girls tea light holders and candles along with a bottle of wine. I will order really pretty boxes for them and they will look fab. Clever me :-)5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Sorry to hear about DD's BF's Gran. Awful at any time of the year but even worse at Christmas.
Well done for getting a handle on the debts and being present savvy :T XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Very sad PLMBL but at least she just went in her sleep.
Sent DD to post office to post a letter for me to open university. It is my funding and registration docs. I said to her to ask for the quickest delivery and she was charged £6.23  !!!!!! I feel like I've been mugged.Good start to me frugalness :rotfl:. Poor DD was scared to tell me.
Cooking a huge chicken casserole in slow cooker so that'll be tonight's dinner and one for the freezer. I have aunt bessie roasties and croquettes and veg to go with it. This is the first meal I have cooked in days due to being unwell so we are looking forward to it. I feel a lot better today but feel as if I have spent the week sleeping.
Going to still have a quiet day and knit. Washing is on and house is tidy. ASDA delivery later and I will then do a month's menu plan with the kids.
I have invited my group of girl friends for lunch next Sunday. We need to see more of each other and I suggested we have turns each on the first Sunday of the month hosting a lunch party. I have said it is to be very simple as some of them are not so good in the kitchen :rotfl:. So I will make soup and bread. I have some cupcakes frozen so I will ice them and make a cheeky cocktail as it is new year. Am looking forward to it. Some of the girls wanted to meet up for lunch but I just told them straight that I could not afford it as it always ends up in food, then drinks, then coffees and at least £25 spent. This way w will have a simple, peaceful lunch and the emphasis will be on the chat.
Watching Black Swan and knitting now so I will be back later xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Agree rubbish film. Good to see you have a plan for the new year. Remember some of the increase was on important house maintenance so yiuvdo have something to show for it. Im still struggling, it's only because we can't get any form of credit that we arent in debt but the last 2 to 3 months hafe been really tight. I know if we could have we would hsve debt :j0

KP thank God then that you can't get any.You have managed to get through despite the struggle. I am dreading sticking to this budget as I know kids will moan and groan. They will try not to but the longer it goes on then they will be grouchy. I have sat them down though and talked to them about it and explained why things need to be tightened. They understand and say they will be okay with it but that's just because it is not affecting them yet
Both kids have an income. DD works full time as an apprentice and also gets homers so she will be fine. DS earns enough to buy his own juice and sweets. I have also warned them that I want our electricity and gas consumption to go down drastically. DS told me no chance but I will keep nagging :rotfl: I am £91 per month for electricity I have got to be able to reduce that

Hello folks. It's a cauld day today. I am frozen and had to put heating on. I tried not to but after putting on extra socks and a fleece and both kids moaning I have given in.
Was working this morning in my cleaning job. Folks that were there left a wee stash for me. 7 pkts walkers cheeses and onion, tube of chicken gravy and a Pkt mini mince pies. There were loads of bits and bobs but the tea and coffee I left in the house and the opened packs got binned. I just cannot bring myself to eat anything like opened biccies when I have no idea who has touched them.
I then went into ASDA and picked up my slow cooker .It now has 2 huge packs of stewing steak and 10 sausages in it so I will hopefully get 3 dinners out of it. I will make soup tomorrow and that will be lunches sorted for this week. DS wanted a McD's so he bought his own, DD bought her own and I got the free cheeseburger he gets with his student card.
I did an inventory last night of my food cupboard and freezers. No wonder I am skint. It is shocking what I have in there. I have 11 tins of spaghetti and I have 4 getting delivered tonight  I mean seriously !! I have 9 tins of beans. I found 3 lovely sirloin steaks and a joint of silverside I had forgotten about. So now am back to the stage where I know exactly what I have and I can probably feed us for most of the month and just need to buy fresh foods as we go along.
I have put bu £100 for petrol, money for the days that DS is in school and I have about £120 for everything else. This is to see me through until 31.01.14 . Scary but I am determined.
Going to finish off the jumper and get it on a local site to see if it sells as there will be no faffing about with postage. If not then I will put it onto folksy and see what happens.

Started using swagbucks tonight and earned 101 bucks. I need 899 for a £5 M&S voucher. I'll cash in each fiver and see if I can get enough for DS's uniform for the summer.
