  • Evening folks. Happy Hogmanany xx

Shattered tonight and could just curl up under a blanket and go to sleep BUT I am off out to a wee party so I better get my sh*t together and get my dancing shoes on :D ( better gargle as we have karaoke as well apparently)

NSD again today and no intentions of spending anything. My party is just down the road so we can easily walk there and back. I'm going to chance my luck with my kidneys and have a wee drinky and just drink lots of water as well. Fingers crossed I survive :rotfl: My friends have bought me in wine and everything though so I really feel obliged ;)

So here's tae us, wha's like us? Damn few and they're aw deid ................I'll raise a glass to you all later my MSE friends All the best for 2014 xx

Happy New Year MIT, I hope the kidneys are still coping fine this morning ;)

Although the debt has increased you have a lovely warm home that now doesn't need too much doing to it for a while so don't beat yourself up.

Lets hope that 2014 is your year and the budgets work and you keep your head above water.

  • Good morning folks. Kidney is fine and dandy so far but unfortunately can't say the same for my head as it is bloody bouncing off my shoulders :rotfl: paracetamol have been swallowed so we will see if I survive the day. I had a great wee night last night though with lovely friends and spent not a penny. The wine had been given to me as gifts and I took a bottle of red down as a gift for my friends that had been given to me ( I don't like red) and I took the crisps and mince pies that we got from the house we were cleaning last week.

So here we go again folks. I have a nice new paper diary and I am going to use that to keep track of my spends as well as on here. I am going to embrace frugality and make sure I reduce my debt as much as possible this year. I am so motivated again and just have a feeling that I will do well this time.

So a quiet day here today whilst we all recover. I have sirloin steaks for dinner and am going to do a wee diane sauce with them. Just the kids and I so that'll be good. I am going to sit on my butt all day and other than cook I will not be moving :p

So Happy New Year to you all and I'll be back later xx
