Thanks so much guys. My sensible head had decided already to wait. I did have a wee trip to IKEA mind you to drool. I stopped myself from buying tubs for my kitchen as well. I'm forever trying to make it look a bit better but it's now at the stage that nothing helps. I just need to knuckle down and do as you have all suggested. Get debt gone and then save like the blazes. I'm quite excited about it tbh.
So work will start to get totally crazy soon. I've had a lovely time since compressing my hours. Loads of time to catch up with family and friends but they have now been warned that I'll see them again around October :rotfl:. I cannot wait for my debt to get into single figures. I think I might combust with excitement at that
So I'll keep going and work my wee fingers to the bone and get sorted once and for all xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

No V I just need told sometimes and thankfully you guys do it for me.
Had a lovely wee day today. Spent afternoon with friends and had lots of chat and a few wee glasses of bubbles. Was great.
Worked yesterday and did the laundry so another £55 for the coffers when its paid.
Last week of normality this week and then things really take off. I'm ready though and can't wait to get some decent money in again.
Am getting sick of myself being unable to control my eating. It's definitely an addiction I have. I did well for a few days and then as soon as I had sugar my body craved it so bad I was actually waking up in the night to eat. Every pound I lost is back on. I think I will need to avoid sweet or sugary things completely and also crisps. Once the ones I have in the house are finished I'm not replacing them. I'll stop the fizzy juice as well but I honestly think if I cut out the sugar completely then I may just succeed. Watching 'my 600lb life' to scare myself into it. Hope everyone is well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

google the Harcombe Diet. It has really helped me. That talks a lot about sugar and cravings and food intolerances.

I'm the same MIT, years ago I would never eat like I do now. Its like I just don't care, Kids have grown up and left home but still buying cArp food, need urgently to stop. Got DB's wedding in may so decided to aim for that . Even joined SW at xmas but put weight on so need to give myself a good kick up the backside and get on with it.
Will google the HarcombeDiet as definitely got a sweet tooth.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
evening. I had a look at the Harcombe diet but will study it a bit more before I decide. I took a pack of digestives to work today to stop me from buying sweets and crisps. I did manage but I did eat about 10 digestives . I'm hoping I get better as time goes by. Going to try and slowly cut sugar out of my life as much as possible. I don't find it easy though
Young girl has been missing locally and today a body was found. Not yet confirmed it's her but that's the word on the street. So sad. She's only 16 and was on her way to her part time job and just disappeared. Lots of folks holding their kids close tonight.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Morning folks. My non working day today
Sadly it turns out that the body was that of the missing 16yr old. It is now a murder investigation. So scary. My kids are grounded forever. But how do you keep them safe. This wee girl was on her way to her Saturday job and God knows what happened next. All we know is she is dead.
The world is going bloody crazy. Murderers, bombs, families dying in freak accidents !! Jeez...it's like God is on a culling spree. So upsetting all of it. The majority of people just want to live in peace and harmony with their neighbour and I just don't understand all this sh*t
I have spent the last hour in DS's room and have 2 bin bags rubbish, 3 loads of washing and have filled the dishwasher. Think I may have found a lot of my missing cutlery :rotfl:. So I'm heading back up there for a half hour. Then going to pick up my friends and we are off out for lunch and a wee wander around the DIY shops to get me some ideas for when I get money. Quite exciting though that I am thinking that this could be happening quite soon5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I totally agree re the awful things happening. Makes me angry/sick/upset/ill. I saw the things on the news about the young girl, such a pretty thing with a life full of potential ahead. It's just so wrong
.
Hope you had a nice time with your friend XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

PLMBL the things that happened to that girl were horrific. Local rumours make it seem as if it was organised and intentional and poor girl had a horrific death. I swear if anyone touched mine I would do time. How can anyone be so evil. Beggars belief.
So work is ramping up again. This is good and money will come rolling in regularly from now on in. I've talked DD into helping me with pressing and she is up for it. Means I can concentrate on the laundering and cleaning side of things an leave the pressing to her. Takes the pressure off of me a bit. All very exciting.
Going to do my tax return pretty quick and opt for HMRC to take what I owe at source from my wages. Means I can stop worrying so much about putting my tax aside and can really concentrate with all my earnings to pay off the debt. I am getting such a kick out of this again.
I am super skint this month though as had my flights and Bruce Springsteen tickets to pay for. I will keep my belt as tight as I can though and keep spends to a minimum. I have already spent £200 on food shopping but cupboards, fridge and freezers are choc full. Not buying anything else except fresh until they are used up
Anyway I'm up early tomorrow to clean 2 houses. I have washer and dryer going just now cleaning towels so I am busy busy busy. Have a fab weekend folks xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
