    Great new df date MIT.
How's the weight? I haven't weighed myself since Sep but know from trousers and my face that I put some on at Xmas. (Note to self:fewer chocs this year). However back on 5:2 and aided by a bout of the runs on Sunday I'm feeling much lighter and keen to lose a bit more. Will never be slender but I like looking "normal" iykwim. My daughter lets me know when I need to sharpen my act!

  • V weight is awful. Been back at SW for 10 weeks and lost a grand total of 2lbs :(

Was working yesterday so I have the weekend free :j. Well except for my house needs cleaned from top to bottom. Just cleaned my kitchen for nearly 2hrs. If my clients could see it I would get sacked :rotfl:. Never mind by the end of the day it'll be fab again

Going to another candle party tonight. Wowsa what a life I lead. So expensive though. I might take car and then I will have a nice clear head tomorrow but then again if house is all lovely I could spend tomorrow on couch recovering and be quite happy. Hmm what to do? Life is short

Have been wrestling with the sheer need for a new bathroom and kitchen. Bathroom loo is coming off of wall. Sink is chipped and taps swivel round. Bath and shower is leaking into the kitchen. Bath panel keeps coming off . Kitchen tap is loose and cupboard doors coming off. Can't be tightened any more. Cooker has no working grill and oven is defo on its way out. Microwave is not working properly and I have storage boxes on the top of all my cupboards through sheer lack of room. No matter how much I clean it it still looks dirty and I loathe it. It is making me miserable. I've had a look and to borrow £15k to get both done and convert my summer house would cost me an extra £143 per month. I can afford it but it would slow down debt repayments a bit. Dunno what to do. I'm so used to not spending any money that the thought of it terrifies me.

Anyway I best get on or work will not be done and I'll not have a nice free day tomorrow after all xx

My thoughts FWIW are get debt free. Save for 6 months and then go for it. You've lived with it for this long and to be debt free has been your aim. At the end of the day its up to you.

Yes I think L is right. You're within spitting distance of debt free now and if you look back over your diaries there has been a pattern. Every time you got to this stage you borrowed for something which set you right back in a lot of debt. I read from your first when I first "followed" you and couldn't understand how you were still in debt years on when you were paying off at such a good rate.
Finish the job and you'll always know you can and did.
