Didn't quite make it on yesterday as was doing a cleaning shift and ended up exhausted. I am struggling physically doing the cleaning since I piled the weight back on but back to Slimming World tomorrow night and going to get back on track. I can't wait.
Going to take tree down this afternoon and have been trying to get our own washing up to date. Place will look really bare once decorations are down but needs to be done. Can't believe that's it all over for another year.
Going to be a quiet month workwise as only 2 bookings at big house and both are this week and limited bookings at the cottages. Linen for big house not coming to me just now either so quite a big loss to my income. I will however plod on an continue to pay every penny I earn off of my debt. The summer months will be a lot more fruitful so I will use the winter months to get myself and my house an garden organised in readiness for the madness.
I think we are all now getting fed up with the rain. I hope none of you are too baly affected by the flooding. Back later xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

Evening folks. Rejoined Slimming World tonight and paid for 12 week countdown. I have put back on every pound I lost last year so no wonder I am feeling rubbish
. I am organised now with lots of fruit and veg and tomorrow is d-day. I'm actually looking forward to getting started again. Only problem I have tomorrow is that I have a cleaning shift straight from work so not sure how I am going to manage. Might take a mug shot to cleaning with me then have an omelette when I get home. I need to sort myself out though as the pain in my feet and back is just getting unbearable again
. I was welcomed back to group with open arms and I mean that literally. Consultant was thrilled to see me again and was quick to put me at ease and give me loads of encouragement. So I am all motivated again.
Did my monthly accounts at last and paid off £200 from CC. Lot less than usual but am happy enough with that. Should manage to get rid of that CC by end of month and will be very happy with that. Hopefully it will then offer me another 0% transfer and I can transfer over my deal that ends next month. That's the plan anyway.
I am tired tonight as stayed up late last night watching the programme where Ant and Dec met Prince Charles. It was very good. Never had much time for Charlie boy but he definitely made a positive impression in that programme. So a nice early night for me tonight is in order. I reckon until I get my weight etc back on track I am going to have to be very kind to myself whilst I regain my fitness levels. Hopefully when I start to get really busy about Easter I will be a fair way to doing that. So goodnight all and take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

PLMBL it is such a scunner when the weight goes back on. I nearly allowed myself to get upset but decided just to use the energy to get motivated instead. I have put all of the weight back on . I've had to buy new clothes as I gave all the other ones away so on top of the cost of 1 year's classes and all the new stuff I've bought over the year I could practically have another £1k off my debt
Busy wee day in work today. Hopefully starting my new hours next week but my colleague is sick this week so might need to be delayed. We'll see. Official start date is beginning of February and I can wait until then if needs be.
My house is a riot. Kids are being lazier than usual and I'm starting to get really annoyed about it. Going to do nothing tonight as tired but I am going to write to them and hand them a letter telling them what is annoying me and how much. Also the reason why having a week's worth of dirty dinner dishes in their rooms is DISGUSTING !!. I so miss my kitchen table as they are just heading up to their rooms with their dinner every night instead of us all sitting down together. DS is so narky and cheeky that I am counting the days until he goes to Uni. He asked me if I would help him move his stuff. Told him I would even pack it for him :rotfl:. I love him to bits but his attitude stinks and I am not good at dealing with him calmly. I either end up going nuts or in tears and neither are effective. I'm sure he will come through it but doing my head in whilst we get there.
So am off to be lazy and chill on couch. No energy which is unfortunately a by product of weight gain as well so I am heading to bed early too xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

well today was even worse. Came home to find DS hadn't bothered to go to college. I had texted him and got no reply so I was a bit suspicious that this was the case. To make matters worse I got home and both DD and DS had been off today and yet again house was a riot. I went nuts . Ended up telling them both that I had always wondered how people could ask their kids to leave home but that I was beginning to understand . Place was honestly disgusting. DD away to work and all sorry sorry but she had been busy all day. What that translates to is that she slept until lunchtime then went shopping to exchange a skirt she bought. Funny that. she had time for a long lie and shopping. Still didn't drop all the empty bottles to the bottle bank or drop stuff into charity shop that I asked her to do a week ago. DS then gave me a pile of cheek so I phoned my brother and he had a word. Feel as if I'm banging my head off a brick wall. So frustrated as they are good kids at heart but lazy gits.
anyhoo moan over. pAID £25 from CC today. Not the one I am trying to pay off but the one I have had issues with. DD was set up to come off today but hadn't. I think it may be bacause I have already paid but I took no chances and paid again :rotfl:. Not wanting to jeapordise my deal again
So bedtime now. Very tired. Still on healthy eating straight and narrow and not finding things too difficult. Happy weekend folks xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Can sympathise with the kids issue. Mine may only be 11 but things you've said still ring true!
Eye opener about the extra £1k that could've been off the debt . Why do we do it?!
Hope you have a good weekend XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

PLMBL I do it because if I didn't then I would be twice this size
No moneysaving news today as I just bought a new car :j:j:j so excited. My wee micra wasn't cutting the mustard as far as all the driving I need to do and also the space I need to carry the laundry. I have bought an SUV dacia duster. It is a year old and I am in love with it. It has all the mod cons in it which is very exciting for someone who doesn't even have air con. Hopefully get it on Tuesday as it is in another garage and needs to be brought over. Going to cost me about an extra £100 per month but it is essential for me and anyway its about time I benefitted a bit from all my work.
So a day of housework today so I can catch up with myself and then a nice chilled weekend. Hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Happy New Car Day!!
I meant, why do we put it all back on again when we'd be much happier if we stuck at it and got to target! (Answer = because 'naughty' food is soooo nice!)

Hello MIT - I've rejoined Weightwatchers as I've put back on the stone I lost 14 years ago. Paid an eye-watering £55.95 for 3 months but hoping that's all it takes. And happy new car!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
