  • Still not brave enough to get rid of it altogether Lucielle. I will cut it right down though so I can never go as high as that again. Hopefully this is the last time ever I need to do that.

Monthly cleaning money in so that's a £300 payment to CC so I am rather pleased with that. I also paid £50 at weekend and I am owed another £90 for laundry so will get that paid off as soon as it comes in. That figure will soon go back down as I have no intentions of slowing down.

My tumble dryer has broken and company said they can't come until Monday . I need all this linen done by Sunday . I have been escalated and will be fitted in if any space becomes available at all for an engineer to come in. However I have no idea who can be here to let them in if it is at short notice as I will be at normal work, DD is in her school placement and DS will be in college, I am super stressed about it. I did ask on facebook if anyone had a dryer that they didn't want and my workmate is giving me one so I can hopefully pick that up tomorrow and get it in situ. TBH I really need 2 dryers anyway as 1 just isn't enough. No idea where it will go mind you but I'll find somewhere.

So a bit up and down in MIT household. I'm in a fuming mood again about the mess in this house and have had a blue fit. The kitchen is now cleanish :rotfl:

  • Evening folks. What a week . Been super tired as been holding mock interviews for staff who have interviews next week. It's exhausting. I must say though I am pretty motivated about my future.

My workmate gave me a tumble dryer but it took me 3 ours to clean it before I could use it as it was absolutely filthy. I nearly died when I went into their house to pick it up. I am however very grateful for it as there has been no sign of any engineer coming out before Monday to fix mine . I'm not a happy bunny.

Paid the £90 off of CC and also £30 for tomorrow's work. Nearly back under the 14k. I'm glad I transferred the money in to my bank account from CC as it really takes a lot of strain off of me having my account in the black for the first time in months.

Quiet weekend this week ( thank God). Couple of hours cleaning tomorrow and 5hrs on Sunday. I have a ton of washing to get done but I have lots of spare time to catch up with it. I'm just going to spend tonight chasing it between machines. I've already done some pressing so I'm doing okay. So glad I have some time at home as I feel as if I have hardly been here.

Anyway both machines have beeped so I best go shuffle things about xx

  • Evening folks. Thankfully my tumble dryer has been fixed but I am now way behind with my laundry . I'm not overly bothered though as I will catch up eventually. December will be really quiet anyway so I'll get a rest then. January is usually quietish as well. I cannot wait :D. I shouldn't complain as I am very lucky to be in the position I'm in. I am tired though and needing some leisure time.

Cleaned a house the other day and came home with my boot packed with food that had been left. 4 bottles cava, a full lorne sausage, 20 richmond sausages, 10 bottles of diet coke Loads of other bits and pieces as well. My freezer is bursting at the seams. I'm going to keep the sausages for using at my new years party so that'll save me a bit of cash.

Paid off £30 this week and due another £50 for laundry so will pay that off as well. This month for the monthly house I do I will be due £250 for cleaning and £350 for laundry. A hard slog but I will use some of it for DS's birthday dinner and put it through the books as a Christmas dinner for staff and clients :rotfl:

DS wants a suit for his birthday. He works with my brother doing a photo booth and when it's a wedding or a 'posh' gig they dress in suits so he has decided he needs a new one. I'm quite happy with that request though as his last request was for a car

I am excited about getting to the end of the year as this year I will have managed to reduce my debt by thousands of pounds. I am also very hopeful that next year I will almost clear it. I will do my absolute damnedest anyway

Always feel exhausted after reading what you have been upto. Hope you have a quiet time soon to recharge your batteries, then bring on 2016. Lets get this debt cleared. :)x
:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.00
  • Oh Amber I do hope so. I would be so thrilled if I managed that in 2016. That's the goal anyway.

£80 paid off today and that's me back in the £13k's so onwards and downwards to the £12's again before the year end.

Am going to spend tonight chilling as today was wild in work. So so busy. I was late getting in as I was getting a mammogram this morning. Was my first one so I was pretty nervous but it was fine. It was uncomfortable but I had been told to take painkillers as it was really sore. I didn't and am glad I didn't as it was fine. Feel as if since I turned 50 I'm getting loads of medical things checked. Must be getting old :rotfl:

  • Evening folks. I can't believe it's been a week since I have been on here

I have put in for another job. Different Government department and would be a promotion for me. Tbh I do not think I have any chance but I would like the feedback and also if I was to get an interview then I could get some experience from the other side. And if I got the job then it would be £4k extra per year which would be rather nice.

Going to have to use the money I'm earning for day to day living the next couple of weeks as I am totally strapped for cash. This weeks money is taking me to the theatre and out for dinner tomorrow. Going to see Miracle on 34th Street the musical and I cannot wait. I am so looking forward to it. I haven't been to the theatre at all this year and it's my favourite type of day/night out ever. Feel slightly guilty about the money I am spending but hey ho I have worked hard and I deserve it.

I think so long as I get through until end of December and don't add to my debt then I will be very happy. I have loads on during next few weeks and it'll all be great fun. I still have January to get rid of the CC before the interest kicks in so I will just have to really go for it then. Going to try and not stress about it as I am determined we are going to have an amazing Christmas this year as last year was so awful

I hope you are all well and hopefully soon I will get caught up with everyone else xx

  • Hi guys. Milann I have been a busy wee bee. Verbatim , yes things are slowing down. I actually have a day off today and haven't even changed out of my pj's :D. I had very little laundry over the weekend which was fab as I got caught up with my personal laundry and ironing. Just need to run hoover and duster round and I will be sitting all cosy.

Not much going on with debt. In fact nothing going on :rotfl:. Keeping earnings as I had said as I have a very expensive month ahead of me.

Going to get my Christmas cards written soon and get them out next weekend. I'm uually running at the last minute but I am just so determined this year that I am not going to do that.

So not much happening. Theatre show was okay. Not the best one I have been to but I was in the very back row and couldn't really see (I'm a shrimp) so wasn't great. Never mind I am going to see Jersey Boys soon and seats for that are great. I hope everyone is okay and not too stressed with the upcoming expense xx
