  • No unfortunately INOD it's rubbish for that type of thing and also it melts buttons etc. Oh and my fingertips :rotfl:

Just picked up DD from station as she was away to see Kevin Bridges. Of course we had to come home via McD's as they were all starving. Not a thought for poor me who has work tomorrow .

A nice easy weekend in front of me and I cannot wait. Saturday I only have 1 small cottage to clean. I'm just going up myself as DS is working. So there will only be 1 set of linen as well. I then have lunch with the girls on Sunday and then the big house to clean and probably the linen for there as well. Easy peasy. I have a 50th birthday party tomorrow night as well. So all good stuff

I had a presale today for strictly live. Managed to get myself and 3 friends tickets and the seats seem to be really good. We are all excited. Something to look forward to after Christmas is by. Those 2 new guy dancers will be worth the ticket price alone. They are both seriously gorgeous.

    Anyhoo bedtime for me xx

  • Happy Weekend everyone :D

Back from cleaning shift and having a lazy half hour before I start on housework in here. I do however have the washing machine and dryer going already. Turns out I have 2 houses worth of laundry after all so slightly busier than I expected to be but £130 will be earned for todays work so that's brilliant.

Both kids are working today so I have peace to get on with what needs done. I am so so tempted to just sit on my butt though. If I do that though tomorrow will be ruined as I will be chasing myself all day and I want to enjoy my time with my friends with no stress.

Party was great last night and even better I didn't drink so nice and fresh this morning.

Ok I best move and get on xx

  • Evening all. Payday tomorrow :j:j. £480 due from cleaning and laundry shifts. Also £80 still due for other laundry. Paid £40 cleaning money off yesterday so I am doing not too bad just now. September was a right tough month workwise so I am looking forward to a more relaxed October.

An evening of ironing and tidying tonight. Cooked a huge pot of stew today so tomorrows dinner taken care of. I haven't gone to SW again. Self destruct button is still well and truly pressed :(. I've placed a huge order to ASDA though which will be delivered tomorrow and it has everything in it that I need to get back on track. I also managed to defrost my freezer at last so no more excuses.

So I best get the washing in and ironing done. I get bloody fed up looking at washing sometimes :rotfl:

  • Oh you are so right INOD never get fed up looking at that. Paid the other £80 off from CC tonight. Makes such a massive difference to the repayments when minimum interest is being paid as well.

Just waiting on the other money. Spent some of it tonight on a new mop, some cleaning supplies and a new steam mop. Such an exciting life I lead :rotfl:. Had met up with a couple of friends for some shopping and then went to McD's for a cuppa and a chat. Nice wee evening

Also got a huge delivery from supermarket so house is well stocked again.

Started my Christmas shopping today as well. Just some pj's , socks and a top for DD. It's a start.

Didn't sleep well at all last night. I am having flushings and getting overheated at night. It's absolutely m urder. So I am tired tonight but catching up with Dr Foster and then to bed xx

  • Thanks V. I am very excited. I am actually now seriously thinking about my kitchen and bathroom. I was always adding the cost to my mortgage and then going to concentrate on paying off mortgage and I am getting down to a level where I can think about it. My pal was in tonight and we were trying to do a guesstimate on how much what I want will cost. We reckon between 6 and 8k for kitchen and about 4to 5k for bathroom as I want a separate shower. I'm going to borrow £15k all in and get my garden a makeover and some decking as well. That will be it done once and for all. I know I am working like a dog to clear my debt but this is the reason I am working so hard. So I can get what I want and I tell you I am about peeing myself with excitement :rotfl:

INOD I am quite enjoying it but it's a bit slow. Not much has actually happened. I'll see how it goes.

Went back to dancing tonight and also managed to get on the straight and narrow diet wise today so fingers crossed I am back on track.

Watching the bake off and washer and dryer are both on. Trying to clear this lot up before I go to other house on Saturday so I can have a slightly easier weekend. Not having a late night tonight though as I am pretty tired x

Take care of yourself MIT. You're working so hard and very long hours. Have you heard back from work about your request to compress your hours?
    Hope you slept well.

  • Not yet V. My manager is on holiday so will be next week at some time. Will keep my fingers crossed.

Ended up really late in bed as ds was stressing about something and he ended up winding me right up to the stage where there was no point in going to bed so I cleaned my kitchen. Shattered tonight though so thanks for that son :mad:. He is however sitting here like an angel just now.

I am getting loads of 0% offers in just now :D. I am only paying interest on one card so I will transfer that one over and I will not be paying any interest. This makes me very happy.

Just made a stir fry and pot of chicken and rice soup. Washer and dryer are going great guns but dryer is making a starnge noise so I am going to have to call an engineer, So noisy,

So am off to have some soup and chill except for chasing washing around the machines. Have a great evening folks xx
