  • Make sure you make downtime, don't forget you've not long since had surgery !!!!
    Sealed pot challenge 822

    Jan - £176.66 :j
  • Dawny I did forget that tbh. I was cleaning again today and I am absolutely shattered tonight. Going to watch downton and then bed. My feet are so sore I had to take painkillers.

Whilst I was at work my wine fridge was picked up so that's another £75 towards argos bill. It also gives me a free cupboard for my press and other laundry bits and pieces.

I cooked up 4lbs of mince today but have had no time to do anything with it. It's in the fridge and tomorrow night I will split it into bolognese and also make shepherds pies.

Crazy week ahead but it's all good stuff.

  • Evening all. Just about to start the pressing for tonight so a wee quick visit.

I'm impatient to get paid for laundry and work done there on Saturday so I can get under 14k :mad:

Work was busy again today. Boss is away for a couple of weeks. She's married but is away with her toy boy lover who also works with us. So funny how they think none of us know :rotfl:

My friend's husband texted me this morning to tell me to make her get a doctors appointment as she has been having chest pains and wouldn't listen to him. So I went into work and told her she either got an appointment or I called an ambulance there and then. She took a bit of convincing but she eventually did it. She went to docs this afternoon and was ambulanced straight to hospital from the docs surgery. Looks like she is okay but she gave us a fright.

I best go and get on as I have loads to get done and it wont do itself x

  • How sexy is my signature. In the 13's..... Lucky for some and hopefully for me. I could cry I am so delighted. The light at the end of the tunnel is definitely getting brighter each month. So exciting. My DFD has gone down by half and every overpayment gets it down even more. I'm on track for my own challenge of paying off my 0% by January before the interest kicks in. All totally amazing and just goes to show what can be done when you work hard. I am tired and looking forward to quieter times over the winter but I am loving the income. I am more or less managing to pay off 1k per month. I cannot wait until that money can go into savings instead of debts.

Busy tonight pressing about 100 pillow cases and doing loads more washing so I better get on. I just wanted to share my happiness xx

That's fabulous MiT. Well done with knobs on. You really deserve a medal for your persistence and sheer hard work. I'm so pleased for you and glad it's paying off for you big time.
Go you on getting the 0% card paid off before the interest kicks in too. I think you said that was the end of January?

  • Oh Princess my kitchen is planned and replanned 100 times in my head but I can actually see it becoming a reality sooner rather than later :D.

Verbatim yes interest kicks in in January so I am racing towards that. I then have another 0% where the interest kicks in in May which is £4k so the way I am going then that will be possible as well. Another £4k has months of 0% that should be well paid off before interest kicks in and my other card has £2k at 4% so I just keep plodding with that one. I will get it onto a 0% as soon as I'm offered one.

So good to have plans that appear doable but you know that way you keep thinking something is going to go wrong . Fingers, toes, eyes and everything eklse crossed that it doesn't

Well done MIT for hitting the thirteen's, it gives such a boost nearly as good as chocolate does. I love having targets as usually this is the only way that I will get things done (on time ).

Keep up the good work, my kitchen has been in the renovating process for fourteen monthes but the end is in sight. Think I can now start planning my bathroom, I just don't tell the myDH.x

  • Thanks Amber and I won't say a word. I am jel though that you have a nice new kitchen :o

I have at last registered my tumble dryer and my boiler for additional guarantees. I needed to to ensure no hefty bills in the next couple of years. All done now so all equipment for laundry work is now sorted out. I'll need to remember and add the costs to my expenses sheet.

Trying to get back on the healthy eating straight and narrow today. Doing okay so far so I just need to keep it up now. I gave myself a severe talking to last night and the pros and cons of eating fell way heavily on the cons side so I need to sort it.

Some pressing to do tonight and if I get time I will do my ironing and I will be free and clear until Saturday :D

So a quick visit again xx
