  • Thanks folks. 5 yrs is pretty amazing and hoping to clear within 18 months if truth be told. Even sooner if I can manage but 18mnths is still a hard task for me. I am determined though. That would be Feb 2017 so I am going to add that to my signature as a goal.

The horror boss who reckoned I was pants at my job and stopped me getting a bonus came and asked me to work overtime to interview the new staff that are being recruited. I declined:rotfl:. I am too busy at weekends but I must say I took great pleasure saying no to her as her face just fell. When I was trained to interview it was the staff who were doing incredibly well who were sent to get trained. Funny how her thinking I'm rubbish has come back to bite her. There is only me and one other girl who was trained but she very sadly died so I am it. What a shame :p. Also had a meeting with my new boss today who told me that no way would I be getting marked down by her. You have no idea how ridiculously happy this made me. I felt vilified.

Anyway. A busy weekend ahead for me. I have 4 huge bags of laundry in my kitchen and have started washing it tonight. I will be bringing another 4 home tomorrow night after cleaning 2 cottages. I will clean my house and chase washing about on Sunday and then Monday I have the big house to clean. It's all good though as it's all money for the future.

Payday today and my account will look quite healthy for a few days as nothing gets paid until 1st of the month. I will also receive digs money from both kids this month and I have still to get a final payment of CSA and child benefit. That should help the overdraft a wee bit I hope.

So tonight I am chilling before the madness begins. Have a good weekend folks xx

Sig looks fab :T and what a boost to be nearer the £10s than the £20s now :j:j

Good to hear new boss is recognising your work accordingly. A bit of comeuppance for old boss there too :)

Your business is going so well, but look after you too :)

  • Ali you have really cheered me up as I hadn't even thought about being nearer the 10's than the 20's :D

Been an amazing month business wise but will start to settle now. Has meant though that I have managed to pay off £1k+ from my CC this month which is just phenomenal.

One of the women who comes out with my crowd quite frequently has recently been fighting bowel cancer. She was a big girl and is now a size 8 as she has been so poorly. A couple of weeks ago we got the news she was in remission and we all went out and celebrated with her. Her house went on fire last night and she was trapped. Had to escape through a window. She is in high dependency unit. Burns to hands, feet, head and other places. Also breathed in a lot of smoke. We are all in shock and just waiting on news as only family are allowed in to see her. Why is life so terrible to some people sometimes?

One of my other friends is having a 50th tonight and my bestie and I are heading out to that. I'll need to get a smile on my face though. Going out for food first and then I am going to drink the bar dry. Have a nice bank holiday weekend folks xx

  • Hi folks. My friend had a good night so fingers crossed. Only close family allowed to visit just now so no other news. I just can't get her out of my head. She is a beautiful looking woman and the thought that she has been burned is just so so awful.

Anyway we had a nice night out last night. Went for dinner and then to the party. Bit of a spendy night but was worth it.

Gave DS £50 today to go and buy some stuff for college. He needs t-shirts and maybe some jeans. I dont think he realises how much he will need. He'll soon learn once he starts.

Actually slept until 11am this morning :o. Had intended getting up early but ho hum. Been working since I got up doing laundry. Will make dinner now and then start again. I would like to get all the pressing done today and the majority of the washing and drying. Might be a late night. I also have a shift tomorrow cleaning. Due a payment of £360 in next couple of days and also approx £80 but will need to put about £150 away for tax man. Quite tired today but I think that is more down to the vodka than anything else :rotfl:.

So I best be getting on with the dinner as I am starving hungry xx
