Hi MIT, yes I reported the spam, wondered what the heck they where on about, lost me after the first line, normal service has now resumed.:)x
:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.00
  • Thanks Amber. I think they don't check until they get a couple of reports. I didn't understand either...............eejits :p

So today has been an easy one. Nice short day in work again. I am enjoying these hours and am now dreading being back to normal next week. At least I got broken back in nice and gently.

I got 3 CSA payments today so that made overdraft a bit healthier.

I came home tonight and DS's bed has been delivered. So I got him painting his room. He is moaning like a good un but I've just told him to get on with it and bloody well grow up. I said to him it was a ridiculous way for a grown man to behave. That seems to have shut him up a bit :rotfl:. DD had spare paint in the shed so it hasn;t cost anything to do his room. He just wanted it white so that's what we've done. Nice and easy to paint over if it gets messy. I can't believe how disgusting his stuff is though. He really is a minger. His quilt from his bed is a complete shocker . I had no idea as I refuse to change his bed or clean his room although I will screech at him every few weeks to do it himself. I may have to start an inspection. I am definitely going to buy him a mattress protector and see if he can keep this bed a bit longer. We are on bed number 5 !!

Looking forward to payday as a few of my larger items I've sold will be getting paid then. That'll be a good old chunk off of Argos account. I will make sure by hook or by crook that the account is paid off before interest kicks in.

Going to watch a bit of telly now and then a wee early night again. That is if DS is done and I can into my bed xx

Oh MiT, I feel your pain.

My DS is the same, he is 18 and I am not sure what he does but his mattress and duvet always end up a funny grey colour.

I don't understand how he gets everything so dirty - DH and I share a bed and ours never ends up like that!!

The only thing I can think of is that he spends a lot of time in his room lounging around, playing xbox so I guess some of it might be dirt/colour stain from jeans etc.

If I did not remind him to change his bed it would never get done:eek:
  • Aww EE it's just gross. I do remind DS to change his bed and I think it may have been so bad as he has black sheets and duvet covers but he is also a minger.

Nice early finish today. DD has brought tonnes of laundry home for me but that'll be another £70 in the coffers at end of month.

Folks I have as clients have just bought another house at a cool million. I really wish I could take it on but is just that wee bit too far away unfortunately.

Meant to be going to my friends tonight for a while but am so tired I might give it a miss. I have loads to do to finish off DS's bedroom and loads of work on tomorrow. I also have an evening party tomorrow and am feeling slightly overwhelmed with it all just now. I'll be fine once DS's bed etc is built and in his room

Anyway I best go help him shampoo his carpet before he rubs through to the floorboards :rotfl:

  • My daughter came in a wee while ago as she had been to docs and said to me 'Mum , thanks for being my Mum' I asked her what she meant by that and she told me whilst in docs a couple came in and they were the parents of a girl she went to school with. They were off their faces and causing quite a scene. She said it just struck her how lucky she was to have me as a Mum and wanted to thank me. I was nearly in tears. Isn't it all worth it when things like that happen :D. Who needs money ...............pfft

    :rotfl:

Brill job on his room :j I secretly hid an air freshener behind some books in DS's room once - he kept commenting on a funny smell :rotfl: Much better than 'his' smell though :D

  • :rotfl: @ air freshener. If I light candles etc he comes down and if he sees them they get blown out and if he can't see them then he keeps saying' what's that stench'. I've no chance

We were all out last night at a party. I took car so was a relatively cheap night. I only intended staying a wee while but I was still there when the lights came on. Great wee night with lovely family and friends. Although the halo was on for drinking I did however eat pakora and cake :o.

Today is a full on washing day. I have 4 houses worth of washing to get done. It is very sunny here so at least my power will be cheap. Bit annoying though to be stuck in when it's so lovely. Never mind it's nearly £200 in cash so I can't complain.

DD said last night that we are living like squatters :(. She's pretty much right though as upstairs has DS's stuff from his room lying everywhere because he was decorating and there's a load of things to get put in loft. I also have things lying about for sale and to go to the charity shop. I'll get DD to do a charity shop run this week. DD and DS can put the stuff up in the loft whilst I'm at work tomorrow and I have a load of sold stuff going at end of month. Hopefully that'll clear the decks a bit. It also clears up a cupboard as the drinks fridge will be going and I can then fold up my press when I am not using it and get it out of my lounge. It's coming together at last :D. Anyway dryer has just beeped so I best be off xx
