Ha Ha yep I can just see it. Ariel house :rotfl:
I am now very excited. My client has offered me the cottages again this year so I have asked her if I can get them on hogmanay. It means we can head up early evening and have a dinner party and then a wee shindig over the bells. Something to look forward to. Probably cost me a bloody fortune but I don't care

What a glorious day here today. Washing line is full of jackets drying
. Tomorrow is to be lovely as well so washing basket is being emptied in readiness for drying in morning.
I have had a super duper kondo of handbags today. I have 12 on for sale. I also cleared out my cupboard under my stairs which was no mean feat I can assure you. Got rid of about 15 pairs of shoes. Some too big, some too small and some just horrible. All never go on my feet so it was time to get rid of them. Have sold my drinks fridge, candle holders and 1 bag. So £85 towards DS's bed etc. I have another £85 worth of stuff sold so that'll make a good inroads to the Argos bill.
All laundry done and just waiting on £214 being paid into my account. That'll take another month off of my DFD but I am not very patient waiting on it. Just checked as I was typing that and it's in :j. It has actually knocked off 2 months from DFD. How exciting. Nearly out of the 15's as well just £66 to go. Needing to sit on my hands to stop myself from just paying it as I would be absolutely skint if I did that.
I can't believe the energy I have today. Long may it last. It's probably because the sun is shining.
I am so dreading work tomorrow. Could cry at the thought of it to be honest. I'm sure it'll be fine but a colleague was in touch about stuff that's happened whilst I was off and it just made me dread it even more and I'm not even affected by it. I'll just get my head down and plod along until home time. I am so defo working towards retirement at 55 if things don't drastically improve. So debt first, then kitchen and bathroom and finally mortgage. Ooft, big ask in 5 years but I'm going to try my best.
Ok best go get the washing in. Hope everyone had a lovely sunny day xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. 1st day back was fine. Just went in from 8.45 until 3pm so wasn't too bad.Boss was lovely to me and warned me to take it easy. I didn't but I didn't go full pelt either.
Delivered two items I sold tonight. Nice wee £10, Have sold another 2 items and will get £25 for them on Wednesday. Was meant to be using it towards DS's bed and I'm so used to any overpayments going to CC I automatically paid it off of that :rotfl:. Will need to remind myself that I've not to do that
I used my new hedgetrimmer tonight and cut back all the bushes in the front garden. Midges were a nightmare though and I am bitten to bits. Little gits love me. Never mind the garden looks much less like a jungle now.
Had beef olives for dinner with mushroom and onion gravy, mash and sprouts. It was lush. The beef olives are free on SW from the skinni range. They are a bit more expensive but so worth it as they are tasty, quick and easy. I have pork mince out for tomorrow night and am going to make meatballs. Was going to do it tonight but haven't had time. I'll maybe get them done in morning before work as I am going to have an early night as I didn't sleep well last night and I'm shattered.
I hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Nice wee day today and I dunno if it's my imagination but my energy levels are zooming. It feels so good after being so tired for weeks. Went to chub club tonight and lost 5.5lbs so I am very pleased with that. Still a way to go to get back to where I was but at least I am on the way there.
Then met some friends but was early so popped into Morrisons for fruit and ended up spending £33. I will use everything though so am not too annoyed,
Made pork meatballs tonight with arrabiatta sauce and penne. Was lush. I have a portion left for my lunch tomorrow for work as well. Very filling. DD didn't like it as it was too spicy for her. She doesn't tolerate chilli heat very well
Sold another item tonight for £10 and again I forgot and paid it off of CC instead of Argos. I even reminded myself when I logged on to internet banking and still forgot !! Auld age is creeping up,
So heading to bed so I can get up early. Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I hope others have reported the spam so it's taken off. What is that all about. Anyway, hello there. Another wee short day today. Had my welcome back meeting with my boss and she insisted I leave early all week so who am I to argue
Buyer turned up tonight for bag and cardigan so that's another £25 in sales. Also sold a candy floss machine for DD and buyer coming tomorrow for that. I actually remembered to pay the money off of Argos tonight instead of CC so that's a step in th eright direction. I just want to make sure I don't pay any interest. DS's bed is being delivered tomorrow so that's good. Hopefully he will have it built up by time I get home.
Booked dinner for DS's 18th birthday in Decemeber. I know it's early to do that but it's a very popular restaurant and I was scared we wouldn't get the time we wanted. So all done. 7 of us going as he just wants a quiet family dinner. Will definitely be cheaper than DD's party so it's all good.
My pal in work brought me another jar of home made lemon curd today. His new man is a chef and keeps cooking for us. I am going to give this jar away though as kids don't like it and it is super fattening and I could eat it with a spoon. So it's got to go.
