Sorry for worrying anyone. Time just went away from me. I was really surprised to see how long it had been since I was on
I'm having a wee day of footering about in my pj's. I have been doing some work laundry and tidying. I even got the hoover out. Kids are still lazing in bed :mad: DS did am all nighter gaming and DD did a very late one partying. I swear I lose more sleep now from them than I did when they were kids. Think a nice calm chat with both of them is coming up as they are on holiday for at least another 2 weeks and I am working and I can't function with so little sleep.
Going to make a roast dinner tonight as I haven't actually cooked over the festive period. I have a nice ham and we will have that with potatoes and veg. That's if my two ever get their !!!!!$ out of bed. Lazy gits.
I got paid yesterday for the 2 cottages I clean but they will not actually be getting done until after our party. I'll pop up on Wednesday night with some stuff and to put the heating on and just check up on it. I'm going to pay the money earned from CC and get rid of that before end January hopefully.

:j:j so excited as my application to compress my hours into 4 days has been accepted and I am starting it in 2 weeks time. I will have 4 long days but I will have 3 days out of the office so I am really really delighted.
Been cooking up a storm tonight. Made chicken korma for tonight's dinner. I have stew on for steak pie and also chicken for chicken pie. Almost got everything packed for going away tomorrow night. I'm really looking forward to that as well as it'll be a great end to a fab year with my closest friends. Unfortunately DD is working and can't come but I'm sure she wouldn't have come anyway as its not cool enough for her.
Received £240 today for work done but will need to look at tax situation and get that put away for month and see what I have left for CC. I am feeling very excited about next year as I reckon there will be huge changes financially for me and this makes me very happy

Happy New year all and thanks for all your kind words.
Had a fabulous night last night. The cottages are such a lovely place to go and so relaxing. Great family and friends with me. We ate, drank and made merry. I stayed very sensible though and only had a couple of drinks. Had both houses to clean once everyone was away and then my friend's hubby made us our dinner and I am home exhausted but happy.
