SA I wish it was only a stone I had to lose. Fantastic on keeping it off for so long. Just shows it can be done
All excited as I am supposed to get my car tomorrow. Still slightly in panic mode about spending money as my whole life revolves around saving money. I am excited though. First decent car I have had in years and years. I have always looked for the cheapest car and the cheapest deal I could get. This time I have bought what I NEED but I am also very very happy with it.
Still no work and another free weekend ahead. Looking forward to it again. Might get a few more spaces cleared in the house. I'm getting there slowly but surely. Feels good though when you get some space cleared.
No money saving today as I forgot my lunch. I only spent £2.25 though so not overly extravagant.

Hi folks been MIA but been busy. Not work unfortunately but been sorting my own house out. Loads of jobs done that have been hanging about for months and lots of 'stuff' has either gone in loft, skip or charity shop. Place looks so much better and seems to have doubled in size .
Car is great. Still a bit wary driving it as it is such a big change for me but so far I am loving it and it seems pretty economical so far.
I have been back on SW for 2 weeks and lost 8.5lbs. I feel better already as i was so sluggish and unwell. I think the fact that I was so much slimmer not so long ago is a huge incentive to get myself back there. The woman who has given me bags and bags of gorgeous clothes has given me another 2 bin bags full so I need to get my backside in gear as I look a mess. I wore a dress to work yesterday and I spent the whole day pulling at it as it was too tight which meant it was too short and just looked horrific. It is in the bin as I just looked like a tramp in it. So I will be in black trousers and black leggings until I get myself down by at least a couple of stones. Why do I do this to myself :mad::mad:
Nothing to tell re cash except bad things. I am overdrawn and have also borrowed most of the tax mans money so I have a fair bit to make up.
Started my new hours this week so I have had today off. So ironing done, House tidied, 2 meetings re cleaning, glasses picked up, unit delivered to my Aunt and her Christmas presentand a nice home made dinner made for us all. Fab wee day and hopefully only doing 4 days n work instead of 5 will keep me sane during the summer months when I am insanely busy. Ready to rock and roll though

I'm back. Old computer is dead and still waiting on new screen for my new one. I can't stand coming on here on my phone as it just irritates me so DS set me up on his laptop until mine is ready for action :j
Car is fab. I'm loving it and I've had it for 2 weeks and haven't even used a tank of diesel yet. Laundry fits in boot easy peasy.
Starting to earn again this week so that's all good. I got £175 today and need to pop away £35 from that for taxman but other £140 is getting paid off of credit card. Feels good as nothing been paid all month. I also have some laundry this week but will sort out the cost of that when I am finished it. Cleaning and laundry will be kicking in again from now so watch my totals go down down down again. You'll not get rid of me now.
Was in work today and a conversation about holidays was going on at the table behind me. A young guy who has young kids and a wife was saying that he had managed to reduce his holiday form £8k to £6.5k  He was delighted about this but I nearly fell off my seat. He works late most nights and also every weekend as well as delivering chinese food. My question us why?? So he can get a 'show off' holiday. I mean seriously. Thats' obscene. I managed to keep my mouth shut .............just

I wonder how much of that 6 grand holiday is on credit and if it'll come and bite him on the behind in years to come.
Glad your back on track with sw and overpayments,January spends - £587.580 -
Evening folks. Milann you are so right it probably is on credit.
I thought I had posted yesterday but obviously not. I put a refund from DVLA and some change into my bank account yesterday and paid off £45 from CC. Today I have received the laundry money I was owed and money in advance for cleaning on Saturday so I have paid £105 off CC today. Only £140 to go and that will be another one cleared. I will then be down to 2 cards but both are stoaters and will take months to clear. But I'm up for it.
I'm loving my new working pattern. A wee day off mid week is just the bees knees. Yesterday I did a good few things about the house but I also spent 3hrs in front of the telly and just chilled which was brilliant. Peace and quiet to sit and enjoy Silent Witness with no interruptions.
Back on track yet again with diet. Been a struggle to get my head in the right place but I reckon I am on my way now. I just need to drop this weight again as I loathe being back to obese . Kids are both on health kicks and hammering the gym so we are all being fit and eating well. I am out tomorrow night but will take the car. I do however have a big night out on Saturday to go for a meal and then head to see strictly. I cannot wait. I could lick that Gleb like an ice lolly
On that note I am away to bed to have nice dreams :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

well I didn't get to lick Gleb but I did slever a wee bit. He is just beautiful. Strictly was a great show. Very funny , the dancers were all amazing and there was enough glitter to satisfy even me.
So yesterday was a busy day as did cleaning shift I normally do with DS on my own. Thankfully the place wasn't too bad but still took me 4hrs. Then went up to Glasgow for a nice meal. And then off to the Hydro for strictly come dancing live. Such a good wee day and only spent £33 on train ticket and dinner so it was all good.
Today will be a day of housework and menu planning as the rain is just ridiculous here. I swear we will sink soon. House is a mess so I am going to set myself targets to get it cleared and hopefully only be a couple of hours. Have a lovely Sunday folks xx5 Year plan. Strictly sounds amazing - wish I'd have booked to see it when it was near here - but I'd just paid for Elton John tickets for dh - which is in Edinburgh in June - very excited as I've only been to Edinburgh for a couple of hours about 30 years ago....January spends - £587.580
