Evening folks. Just popped in (in between wash loads) to tell you of my super bargain. I had a 6 seater solid oak kitchen table that was taking up loads of space in my kitchen. These days there's only the 3 of us and half the time somebody is missing at meal times so, I made the decision to get rid of said huge table and get a butterfly foldaway one. So table was £124.99 reduced to £99.99. I had £15 in nectar points and I sold table for £75. This resulted in me getting a smashing new table for £9.99 :money:. My kitchen is huge again and doing the laundry in it is a pleasure now rather than feeling as if I'm in an obstacle course. Happy MIT. Ok am away again to shuffle washing around xx5 Year plan. Hi folks and Merry Christmas. My laptop was playing up so I haven't been online.I got a new one from Santa though so I am back :j. I'm so delighted with it. My kids halved in for it and they were so excited at giving me it. I was almost in tears.
I am sitting today in my pj's whilst both kids are working, watching telly and eating chocolates and recovering from the copious wine I drank yesterday
No money saving has taken place in the MIT household this last month but I'm not too bothered. At least I haven't sabotaged anything by going too over the top with my spending so am just starting again where I left off except for a couple of hundred borrowed from my tax fund. Might use money in January to clear that and get rid of AGROS. I have just over £600 to pay to current CC before interest kicks in. I'm going to have a good look at finances and see if there is anything I can reduce but I kind of think I have it down to the bones already. We will see
Was laughing at everyone panicking about food shopping for Christmas. I literally bought nothing as we were going out. I have today did an online shop however for New Year and I should now have everything we need for the party and a few wee treats for between now and then. I am determined that once new year is over I will be going back onto healthy eating as I have piled on the weight the last couple of months and I am disgusted at myself. Not going to beat myself up about it but I will sort myself out and get back on track ASAP. This year has been crazy with special birthdays etc so next year will be devoted to getting the body I want and hopefully get debt free :T. Am away to update my figures and see exactly how I stand. I hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

You too Skinny xx
My current balance is sitting at £13,855.30 as of today. I want it to be under £5k by end of 2016. I would actually like it to be paid off but I am being realistic.
I am annoyed at myself though as the CC I was concentrating on has now got interest kicked in so my plan to pay off AGROS has now changed and I will concentrate on that first of all. I have also messed up on a balance transfer. I transferred money for 37months @ 0% and I have always had a direct debit set up for that account. Stupidly I didn't realise that I would have to set it up again and I ended up with a late payment charge and the 0% removed. So annoyed at myself. I have sent a begging e-mail but I may end up having to do another balance transfer which will be very annoying as I thought I had it all sewn up.. Stupid me. Hopefully they will be understanding and sort it out for me.
Anyway I am now watching 'The lovely Bones' so I will catch you tomorrow5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:j to the CC company a sthey have refunded late payment fee and also reinstated my 0%. Took my eye off the ball a bit there so am very grateful for excellent customer service.
Had a cleaning stint today and home with laundry. Oh well the break was good whilst it lasted :rotfl:. Also been paid for other cleaning job which I will do after the party at new year. I need to write a list of everything I need to take with me for the party as I will no doubt forget something if I don't.
Am tired tonight as house was pretty dirty after 21 people being in it for a week. Even though they left it tidy it's still a load of work to clean it.
My kids are finding it highly amusing just now to take the mickey out of me because I am a lot shorter than them. DS is nearly 6' and DD is 5'8 so with scraping 5'3 at a push then they find it all very hilarious . I still have the biggest gob though so all is well.;)5 Year plan. Pleased to hear you had a good Crimbo
Yay to CC company, that's a great result, well done :T
I have to stand on the second stair to be above DS now, I did threaten to wear high heels, but I'd have to buy some first, so that was a no-no (and they'd need to be at least 5" :rotfl:)
Well done to your kids though on the new laptop, what a lovely pressie from them.
