Cut down sugar. Having a diet high in sugar can make those extra pounds hard to budge - especially around the tummy. If you have sugar in hot drinks try to cut down or stop drinking fruit juices. Simple things can add up in the long run. Hope this helps.0

Get the myfitnesspal app for free. Best thing I did. Don't need any of these diets or pills etc. You type in what you have ate and it lists almost every food.
You can put how much you weigh and how much u want to lose and how quickly. I think the max it says is 2lb a week (which is realistic) and it tells you how many calories you can have a day to achieve this. Am on 1250 calories a day to lose 2lb and its quite a struggle. It really makes you think twice about eating a little chocolate bar because for the calories in a chocolate bar you could have a chicken breast. Am eating less junk and carbs and filling up on veg and protein now. Honestly its changed me. I went into the supermarket the other day and was depressed and nearly reached for crips and chocolate and said no i'd rather be able to have more food to fill me up than crips or chocolate. A couple months ago i'd of just ate my dinner and then ate crisps and choclate afterwards.
I didn't eat veg at all last year and now am starting to eat carrots and mushrooms and enjoying them. I've lost just half a stone since christmas just by eating less. I do walk to college which is about a mile and walk the dog each night and if I can be bothered do a quick 10 minute workout a few times a week but nothing extreme exercise wise. Though I am starting the 30 day shred and the gym in feb as I want to get toned. Plus I tend to lose weight quicker when exercising and tone up pretty fast. Plus its nice to be able to enjoy a nice chocolate cake now and again as a reward for working hard exercising.
I've been swapping my pasta and noodles (am a huge carb lover) for the Eat, Water, Pasta & Noodles as they about 20 calories a pack. They don't taste great but add bulk to food and fill you up. They are expensive but I like to have them in for days when say i've been for a meal and don't wanna go over my 1250 calories. Also been having turkey rashers and egg white omlettes for breakfast. The turkey rashers are gorgeous and 53 calories for 2 of them :O.
Good luck and stop pressuring yourself to lose weight it will come off but it takes time. I have felt so low and down recently just wanting the weight to come off me overnight and quickly but it doesn't and if it does its just water weight mostly and will go straight back on. I broke up with my boyfriend before christmas and lost half a stone in a couple of weeks because I just couldn't eat. When christmas came around and I started to eat more I put most of it back on within a couple of days.0 -

In my opinion these expensive, faddy, 'fake' foods don't add anything to your diet, they might make you feel full for 5 minutes but that's it.
I've got nothing against people choosing to eat less carbs, or less fat, whatever suits them, is more about the fact that substituting more natural food for highly processed empty foods doesn't seem a good healthy choice (and not a personal attach on the poster either, just adding to the general discussion).
