I've just tried d to set a limit order at 445p to expire at the end of the day but just got a blank screen at the end of the process.

I think I'll just forget about it for today and come back to it on Monday.

And yet you're the one who spat the dummy at being called a fool, bless.

You expect me to say nothing? Then you are the fool. Why don't we take this further but lets PM each other, no point in involving the whole forum. In fact I will PM you now.

We expect to be extremely busy during the first few days of trading and have doubled the size of our dealing desk to help clients who want to deal.
I wonder where that other 4 times the normal staff levels came from, they wouldn't be bullsh1tt1ng would they?

I'm not trying to scare him, I just don't see the point in boring the forum any longer.

Do they tend to use shift workers? I can't imagine that they trained new staff just for one day. If they do use shift workers then they could have possibly called everyone in today, but 4 times does seem unlikely I agree.

Have now managed to put through three ETF purchase transactions using my unused RM funds in my vantage share account. Each one took several minutes and a few requote efforts because the system is working so slowly. Perseverance pays off but it is a painful process. things are a lot better than this morning though in my experience. no luck trying to get the funds returned from another linked account but with such choas it might be better to let things calm down before getting your funds back to your bank account. Good luck out there!
