oh I love trifle. xmas brekkie at vikki_louise's
And me too - I have bought a bigger trifle dish this year:T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Fresh juice for kids, Buck's Fizz for adults, filter coffee - I buy Xmas ones from Whittards or TK Maxx and we normally just have warm croissants with butter and jam, last year Morrisons did a candy cane shaped sweet bread which was lovely and an Xmas tree shaped tear and share bread which I didn't try but I'm hoping they will do have them, or similar again this year0

When Christmas is at our house I usually do something like half a muffin each with a slice of smoked salmon or ham, a poached duck egg and hollandaise sauce over the top. This year its possible that we won't be eating dinner until evening so maybe it'll be a whole muffin each and two eggs, and maybe crispy bacon instead of ham/smoked salmon.0

We don't tend to have a tradition for Christmas breakfast but last year was croissants. Boxing Day is trifle!Tink0

Stepdaughters come for xmasbreakfast and as they always go out for lunch don't want anything too filling. Last year I sliced strawbs mangos pineapple etc put out yoghurt and croissants. The men wanted bacon so cooked that as well. Stepdaughters on smelling bacon tucked into that and left the very healthy fruit!!..0

Selection boxes!
To be honest we don't usually do christmas breakfast as we have our dinner at 3 ish and are usually snacking on chockies and nuts before hand.
Eggs Benedict is are usual 'treat' breakfast on special occasions though, although I don't know how easy this would be for a group of people.
I'd be inclined to go for a continental breakfast....fruit, fruit juice, smoked fish, cured meats, some nice cheese and maybe some croissants or pan au chocolat....that way everyone can pick what they want, there isn't the cooking, pots and pans etc and it can be mostly done in advance...as much as I love a full English, on a day where you're going to be eating loads anyway, I'd maybe find it a bit over - facing...xx0 -

Kids and hubby have egg muffins and I have smoked salmon bagels. Kids have fresh orange juice and I have fresh brewed coffee followed by a glass of Buck's Fizz.'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

We have a continental breakfast! Crossiants , choc au pains, fresh orange, cheese, hams, eggs, jams etc. The kids enjoy it and there is no cooking involved (as long as you do the eggs the night before!)
Its just something we have always done.0 -
