It seems to me like most of them genuinely just didn't speak English and didn't know what to do.
Imagine if a lady in a burka strolled into a pub! I'm sure she'd receive the same sort of service. Sometimes shock makes people act a bit strange.Hi. I'd say that they usually probably only cater for the local Asians so didn't have a huge grip of English and didn't really know what to do, so when you offered to leave it was probably a big pressure off their shoulders!0
