  • Evening everyone

Well the tumble drier has been going non-stop all day. I know this is not very MSE but I just had to do it. I cant quite work out why I have so much washing at the moment.

Have dusted and hoovered most of the house, changed sheets on 2 beds, washed all the doggie bedding and bathed the dog (he is very itchy at the moment), got a Mr T shop delivered and put away and have just updated all my finance spreadsheets.

Very tired now. Must try harder to do a bit of flying every day next week. As pozza says a little every day makes a big difference.

Shopping for house things tomorrow to finish off my newly decorated living room. New carpet on Tuesday - wahey!!

Hope you are feeling better soon Mumto5, chest infections can really wipe you out.

Right, jim jams on and ready for bed next I think!
  • Reporting in.

Not much really beyond the dailies.......lots of washing done on cheap leccy, Mt Foldmore is not much more than a small mole hill of odd socks atm. All of downstairs hoovered.

Kitchen needs attacking, but I am out of spoons tonight. Had one of my fence panels kicked in/blown in when I looked out of the window this morning.

I spoke to nice NDN who has a spare panel and is going to fit it tomorrow, and I can get him a replacement one in Spring when he is ready to get more panels to work on his next project.

Time to Skype DD1 and DD2 in a mo, fingers crossed for some good news

I have unpacked and built the dolls house aww it's lovely. It's also in the spare room  really need to remember to ask FIL to help me put it away tomorrow before kiddies go upstairs...

lol that made me smile, we did the same for SW3 when she was tiny although it was hidden next door at my friend's house. On Christmas eve DH brought it round and wrapped in situ and when SW 3 opened it in the morning she (aged 3 at the time) looked round cool as a cucumber and said 'it's just like the one at Auntie Kati's' and carried on playing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We've been shoe box packing today, got just over 70 done :T which will hopefully make a lot of kids who have very little, smile.

Wills JUST DO IT! Nuff said :p

Ooh we had a productive day today... I got my new diary so filled in birthdays and passwords and various number (NI, account etc) I also...

    *DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!!*

After living here 8 years 2.5 months... we have put up the 2 crates of pictures and all the new ones we have had done of the 3 tiddlies... I am ASHAMED to admit we have none.. not a single one of Tiddles :( She is 9 in a few weeks!!) I am really upset by this.. we have loads of her on the lappy and stuff but none at all of her that we can put on the wall.. no school ones, just her Bounty pics from when she was a day old.. how awful is that? :(

I have said for Christmas I want a huge professional looking picture for above the fire place of all 11 of them.. I also said I would like one of the older 8 for them to give to KH.. because I am sickeningly nice like that.. not sure who I know on my FB who could do some tbh, I am CERTAIN there will be at least a few.. might flick up a quick message actually see who comes up.

2 binbags of recycling out, 1 binbag of rubbish and a reshuffle in the small girls bedroom.. the toys are stacked safely and other than a few crates/boxes of clothes I just sorted out of the cupboard and that are between sizes it is looking much neater in there..

I however, am absolutely exhausted.. Lord knows what is wrong with me.. I got 10 hours sleep last night and am just far too tired to think straight already.. Pixie has been a total beast today and screamed since 11am.. I've bathed, fed, rocked, ignored and dumped her on OH and she is still screaming!!!

Valli~ ohh err, sounds like you have your work cut out on the play, just wait for the mothers to arrive to 'tell you' their little DD / DS should have been the lead part etc etc...............I'll watch your reports with interest.
Believe you me I am quaking in my boots at the thought.

Never ONCE did I pole up to the Vallikids school and complain about casting - in fact my two missed the audition for the xmas play the year I graduated, as that was the day auditions were held - they said nothing; I found out why they were both merely 'spear carriers' when I asked them why they hadn't got roles - either of them.

We have decluttered a Uni visit. We have also established said Uni is sufficiently close enough to Cheshire Oaks to warrant visiting said outlet. We have also established shops we LIKE are at Cheshire Oaks. I have new Christy bath sheets; I FINALLY have my Denby Rice Bowls, a cute snowglobe (because there's a paperchase outlet), and Christmas gifts have been bought. DS rejected my kind offer to drop in and collect laundry.:rotfl:I now also habve tracksuit bottoms which I now need for work (PE) - my old ones had a hole in but as I wasn't teaching outdoor PE I was not in any hurry to replace them. So that was desperate.
I have also been to Ellesmere Port and almost been to Knutsford. Neither were actually en route but DD, it appears, cannot map read and Valli, (although this is VERY well known) gets lost when driving. Frequently. But I found Stockport. I can get home from Stockport.

  • Back to report I have made a brew as I was parched. Switched WM, TD and DW over on the cheap leccy.

Debating whether to eat, clean or just take the cuppa back up to bed.

I might clean one worksurface just while the herbal is brewing....no point risking a scolded tongue by rushing to drink it ;)

Little Poppy has been home from hospital for a whole week! She hadn't managed more than 4 days in a row from being born so this is amazing. She still has her NG tube because she has become reluctant to feed.. she was too ill to feed herself so they tubefed her while she was very poorly and now she has forgotten how to do it.. but she is gaining weight for the first time in weeks.... big clever girl! She was 10lb at birth and went right down to 7lb and she is now 8lb she she is doing fantastic!
