Quick check in while I wait for Mr LW to finish work and be ready to take me to Mr T's. (He's wfh on early shift today).

Healing vibes for Mrs Dog and SickDog. Fwiw, I can't take Tramadol either.

The JRs, Hugo and Dylan, are delightful. They're brothers, almost 7 years old, and lovely characters.:o Thankfully they have very different markings, so easy to tell apart.:D

Yes please Mrs MP and thank you.

I've cruised the kids bedrooms and have amassed 4 more loads of washing.
    More ironing done.

There is a large 'splat' mark on the landing carpet. Nobody will confess to spilling anything. I'm going to try and sponge it out with a large bowl of tepid water with a single drop of detergent in it. A carpet cleaning man told me never to use the commercial stuff to remove stains.

Ironing to put away now. Sigh....

Fingers crossed still for DS1. Old carpet cleaning guy (he did mecca dance hall carpets) told me if the carpet is not synthetic then use really hot water and a ba of plain white hand soap, works really well for me.

Shopping done, birthday present brough. Just need to write the cards and wrap in a bit.

    Washing all dry.

Thanks Mrs MP, Pigpen and Fizz for the knitting help. I only restated knitting last year and had only done very basic stuff as a child. I started back on the loop thing and found that easier than needles. I'll give it a go on both. Next knitting question how do I change colours?

Time for a cuppa and the HHC at 3pm if you fancy.

I usually use both colours for about 3 stitches to anchor the new yarn and then drop the old one. My sister does a lot of fair isle and wants me to try it. I politely declined and advised her to jog on!

The garage just rang and my car is ready :). Unfortunately, DS has just walked through the door and DD isn't back yet. Don't think I can feasibly collect it today :(.
