The (inherited) silver toast rack and pair of jam spoons are sparkly. My hands are black. It's a good thing I only polish them once every 10 years.

The painting is done. I have had my lunch. By the way my tummy is growling now, I think I may not have had breakfast but honestly couldn't remember. Some very odd noises going on anyway!
I have told DD she will lose her bedroom door but DH won't let me take it off. This time I have told her that if she continues to act like a toddler, then I will take her to school every day and pick her up too. Then she can't walk with her mates.

Right, I really must crack on. Best find my phone first as I really hope the garage ring to say my car's ready to collect at some point today.

Button found and sewn back on to trousers, along with its friend that did not go missing.

Mrs Dog doesn't like Tramadol. She cries nearly as much when she's on it as from the pain when she's not. She's finally gone to sleep so hopefully she'll heal. How's SickDog today Jazee?

Tramadol makes me violently ill and then made me unable to function :( Maybe it's the same with dogs, is there something else they could give her instead? :(

Oh dear, I hope MrsDog feels better soon. SickDog is pretty much the same as earlier today, still no appetite, still drinking a lot, and still trembling. I've wrapped her in a big blanket and she's snoozing on the sofa now. I've now picked up the next lot of meds so hopefully they will do the trick. If not, she'll have to have a scan.

Flying none, as I'm doing the paid stuff (in between looking on here!).

im left handed and knit in a really [STRIKE]weird [/STRIKE]unusual way. i cant hold the right needle its sort of wedged into my hip so its really hard for me to use npns (i ended up stabbing myself:o) one day i will persevere and crack it. crocheting another one i was doing some at the martial arts club the other week along side a lady who was also crocheting. in the end she put hers away and said the way i did it was too distracting as i was going the opposite way round to her. it wasn't like i was waving it over my head shouting look at the freak trying to crochet different to you all :rotfl:

The stuff i do looks alright when its done so im happy with that

Hahaha, this really made me laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

Bit of a slow start for me today, all the usuals done, beds, dishwasher etc.

Conservatory in a mess since we finished putting together the Cross-trainer last night. I've Hettied out there and moved some stuff out to the hall, it needs to go up into the attic but Dh is watching the Walking Dead on his lunch-break at the moment. Anyone have a spare rocket I could put under him?

Yes please Mrs MP and thank you.

I've cruised the kids bedrooms and have amassed 4 more loads of washing.
    More ironing done.

There is a large 'splat' mark on the landing carpet. Nobody will confess to spilling anything. I'm going to try and sponge it out with a large bowl of tepid water with a single drop of detergent in it. A carpet cleaning man told me never to use the commercial stuff to remove stains.

Ironing to put away now. Sigh....
