  • Well my HHI stretched to over an hour - but there's still a mountain! :rotfl: WM is on again, need to run round and do dishes before DH gets home but having a cuppa first. I'm not going to be able to do much tomorrow as have a day crowded by relatives, hospital appointments and a visit to work to (eventually) sort out maternity leave arrangements. Never mind, have accomplished a decent amount already this week and should be able to do a fair amount on Friday and also on Saturday night (when DH is at a stag do). Am tempted to load the car for Sunday's car boot on Saturday too so we have no excuse not to go - regardless of DH's hangover status :rotfl:

    Hi all

GWS vibes to HB & Jazee's doglets
rosyq I use something called kilrock, it has a brush in the lid so you 'paint' it on. Has worked wonders with the heavily limescaled taps I inherited when I moved in.
WW hope things get better for you
dancemum hope your IBS has settled
Bossy well done Miss Moo on the writing not so well done on being a git!

    DW on & emptied
    Table cleared of gibble
Washed socks paired and put away
Just about to wipe the worktops, hob & sink

Took old boy cat to the vets, he really wasn't himself and looked unhappy. Sadly the vet found a mass on his bladder and said the only thing they could do was palliative care so I made the decision to have him PTS. He has been my constant for the last 10 years (got him from RSPCA when he was 7) so he will be much missed.

    Goodnight all

Brrrr, it's gone really cold this evening. We had the big RNP thingy at DD's sea cadets tonight. They had to be there at 18:30 and we didn't leave until 21:30 and still had to go to Mr A and get bread. We all went without coats and came out to a big shock!
Lovely and warm when we got home as heating working lovely :).
ASBO cat has brought in the same mouse twice in last 5 minutes. Clearly too cold for her to stay outside to dismember but there's no chance she's doing it in my lounge.
I am now going to try and dismantle my Dyson as it's not sucking so well and I poked loads of fluff out of it earlier.
Oh, she's back again. DH gone to tell her off!

ETA: sorry to hear about your puss cat deco :(. Glad the tum's a bit better dancemum.
Have cleared out Hoover bits and removed lord knows how much hair clogging up one of the pipes. Also washed the filters which DH promised me he had done last week (methinks not!).
Just watching man made home, then orf to bed. Night all xx

Sadly haven't done anything today. Hubby normally takes care of kitchen but he has been working 12 hour days. We ordered a pizza tonight so not much washing up to do and he has taken care of it. Will make it up tomorrow!
