Just under £20 was spent a few days ago.
I brought 5 milk trays (200g) for £2
(Though I was supposed to only buy 4 - I miscounted)
each for the "Couples" in my family ;
Auntie & uncle 1
Auntie & uncle 2
Cousin & her partner
nan & Granddad
Auntie & uncle who not really my auntie or uncle
then i brought my parents friends a box of fox's biscuits for £3
and their daughter some tattoo pens for 99p and a minie mouse kids perfume purse set (not sure how much this cost but i guess it was fairly cheap)
I had to buy my parents an anniversary present so it bumped the price up to £21 in B&mmmm and £12 in evolution .
not bad though I only have 2 and half people let to get
(I need to get a pair of socks for my cousins partner as he has a cup) and its just my nan & granddad 2 now to buy for.FebNSD:1/14 (TotalNSDs:12NSDs|SPC#054 £0.52(£6.00 banked)|RR#90Jan£0.07(Total:£0.07)|ES:£1.00/£50.00|£6.00/£359.00SavingsRepayment0 -

Just about done now; £149.07/£250.00
Got rest of friends -actually I think I am going to give her a dvd of mine that she used to like, its only been watched once so will put this with drink and i got her some chocs.
Only one left is my son but i think i want to get him a dslr camera -there are reasonable good quality ones (older models) on Amazon - However this will be a pressie for both of us so hoping hubby will chip in too! This will mean I am totally in budget! I would rather get him one more expensive item i know he will use that serveral small ones I am not sure about.
Glad I am in now -weather is getting quite scary out there!Back on the trains again!0 -

Read a book a week challenge 50/520 -
Well I've actually spent some money towards Christmas this week!
On the food front, I've bought a tub of those chocolates in the purple hexagon shape from Mr T. Some biscuits for cheese, shortbread and chocolate biscuits from c00p which weren't too bad a price, and I've experimented with a pastry recipe and made a small batch of mince pies, all of which have gone! So starting to feel a bit festive :j
OH has purchased items for his 2 DD's and his niece so that's good.
I've spent some cash in £land and got lots of bits to go in everyone's stockings (this tradition I started when my DS was born so anyone at our house for Christmas morning has one, we didn't have stockings when I was a child!)
I've ordered a key ring with a Lego Yoda on for my OH and planning on getting him some shaving bits and that will be him sorted out.
I really need to hit the shops to find something for my mum, I'm thinking about getting the Harry Potter set for my DS as he mentioned that this evening and afterwards I saw an advert for it for £19.99 from mvh, and then think about the mp3 player or some cash. I might venture to one of the toy shops, there's one not to far away from us that stays open until 11pm week day evenings, as need to buy for my niece and nephews who are aged 8 & 7.
So :T I've made a startand spent £49 from my £155 budget

I went online to T direct and used some of my club card vouchers and got something for my youngest niece and some other little bits but had to pay £7 as something wasn't covered by the vouchers.
I am going to the toy shop, probably be Monday, to find something for my nephews.
At least it's progress now!
Spent £56 from my budget of £155.
I guess all you guys have all finished your shopping whilst I am only just getting goingnew challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -

£250.00/£250.00 - Target acheived.
I may be just a few pounds over but I am happy with that. It was worth setting a target just to see what I do spend. The few pounds over would be for a couple of stocking fillers.
Luckily did not need more wrapping paper/sellotape/cards but I think i would have called this 'extras'
Hope everyone else is doing ok!Back on the trains again!0
