My budget is normally (up to figure for each person)
Mum/mil £30
Nieces and nephews £15-£20
Siblings £20
Children £25 (for stockings and main £60)
Others £5-£15
Partner £50
Last year, I did spend less, but I think have got some better deals this year. For example, last year, I spent £50 on my partner with savings of £10, but this year, so far, I have spent £26, with savings of £27.
Mum - wanted body shop, body butter, normally £13 each, but I got two for £11.60.
Niece - a toy in the sainsburys half price sale, plus a few other bits, so £22, which I got for £13.
Sil - wanted a particular perfume. I managed to get it for £23, slightly over budget, but better cost per ml value.
During the Body Shop sale, I managed to get some body butter reduced to £3 (from £13). Sadly they didn't have my mum's favourite, but I managed to grab a few for the children's nursery key workers. I wanted to get them a little something to thank them for looking after my children, but I don't have lots of spare cash, so these are ideal, as they are normally quite expensive.
Partner - I was in uniqlo recently and they were giving free heattech tops worth £13 if you posted somethin online. I queued up for a few minutes to use the promotional computer and walked out with a free top, which will be a nice Xmas present.0 -

Just purchased last of OHs pressie -though i did ask for a list as he is really into films and I wanted to buy him a dvd. Too many to go through to see what he already has!
Brings total to;
£110.28/£250
Only have friend to buy for and her children plus my son now.
In regards to budget, I do put so much aside. I work out those big expenses (Car service/mot, tax, holidays and christmas). divide by 12 and put that away each month. Though not wanting to go into this amount too much I also buy a few items out of my usual monthly spend amount. First year i have really done this. Though I have also cut my amount down this year.Back on the trains again!0 -
I'm currently making my own gift tags or trying to. I loved the designs on a H&M shopping bag and kept it, so I'm using that to make tags!
Should I post pictures of the finished designs later?FebNSD:1/14 (TotalNSDs:12NSDs|SPC#054 £0.52(£6.00 banked)|RR#90Jan£0.07(Total:£0.07)|ES:£1.00/£50.00|£6.00/£359.00SavingsRepayment0 -

I discovered I had £20 of Mr T's vouchers which I hadn't spent (hurrah) and doubled them up to spend on beauty and fragrance stuff in the Clubcard Boost thing which they're currently running. To my delight I discovered they had a lot of gift sets on a half price offer (this was last weekend, not sure if the offer is still running) so I ended up with nearly £80 worth of things for essentially what felt like no money outlay. There were some nice stocking filler things such as Nivea bags, various 'designer' hair care sets, Vaseline lip care tins, Lynx sets etc etc.0

I need to go there -
I saw a nice complete spa set for my nan for £5
and a jar of jelly babies for my grandad for £3
then i'll be left with
3 people to buy for.
If i get all of them done and have money
left over, I have 3 extra people to get for.
but I'm a little worried about money to worry about them.FebNSD:1/14 (TotalNSDs:12NSDs|SPC#054 £0.52(£6.00 banked)|RR#90Jan£0.07(Total:£0.07)|ES:£1.00/£50.00|£6.00/£359.00SavingsRepayment0 -
Update; £125.60/£250.00
Got one of friends pressies (she loves Tia Maria) so got a 1/2 bottle for her. Plus her daughters one. I will make her some gingerbread to go with this. I'm a 'not too bad' cook so fingers crossed. Also picked up choc boxes (heroes/roses -on offer in sainsbobs for £2) . These will cover secret santa plus taking to friends before christmas. Just £25 to cover rest of friends ( & kids) pressies -this should be more than enough. This leaves my son.
He could do with a new laptop -this would be paid for 3 ways by me, hubby and him. Failing that he is into Railworks on Steam -they usually have a sale after xmas so i will save 1/2 for this.
Hope its all going well for everyone else!Back on the trains again!0 -
My mum found the spa set and jelly babies jar i wanted to get in Mr.T whilst she was doing a little bit of her own Christmas Shopping.
She only wanted me to pay her back £4 for the jar as she had a £5 off voucher which covered the spa set.
Total spent now = £175.76
good luck to everyone else, hope you're all doing okay!FebNSD:1/14 (TotalNSDs:12NSDs|SPC#054 £0.52(£6.00 banked)|RR#90Jan£0.07(Total:£0.07)|ES:£1.00/£50.00|£6.00/£359.00SavingsRepayment0
