    Laila hugs for cd1.
  • Spotting today which means AF will arrive this evening/tomorrow right on time :(

Utterly fed up and despondent now, I feel like we're cursed, nothing ever seems to go right for us and I can't help feeling what have we done to deserve all this, we had some bad news yesterday then when driving home flashed a lorry out and got a cracked windscreen as a thank you ( rubble fell off the back and hit the windscreen ).

Does the 2ww ever end? seems to be going on for ever here. Bored now. Just ate some jelly babies to make my self feel better, which probably wasn't a good idea when haven't been feeling great for the last couple of days.
So instead did a AP foods order, and got the choccy ordered in wait for the on slaughter of AF. Not sure TTC in great on the waist line.

Been to loads of parties over the weekend, 2 of which involved loads of kids (1 was my friend's son's 2nd birthday). Felt like a fraud as everyone there except me and 2 other friends had children, so there was loads of mummy talk. So at the 2nd birthday party snuck my self in the corner and smiled sweetly. At the other I also snuck in the corner smiling sweetly, except this seemed to be the indicator that toddlers could use me as a bouncy castle. I just so much want to be able to go to a party where there's loads of kids with one of my own.

  • Hugs Laila & Chocoholic.

Vesper I'm with you on the 2ww. It does indeed suck. Also sucks being the only non-Mummy in a group.

What I also hate is when they try to make up for all the Mummy chat and they turn to you and ask "What's been happening in the real world?"
You're then expected to regale them with tales of crazy nightclubs and foreign holidays! I'm 34. I go to work and I come home and watch Homeland in my PJs - go back to the baby chat!

(Sorry for the rant there. Don't know where that came from!)

Hugs to everyone because there is never too many hugs!

Well AF is proper here now. I am still working from home a few days a week so took an early lunch and went shopping to cheer myself up. I just purchased some lovely sheepskin slippers which look like the sort my nan would wear but I have Raynauds so my toes are suffering in this weather! I also purchased conception vitamins for myself and hubby, don't know if these things work but worth a try, and some fertility spray stuff. Ov strips should be arriving in the post today so once AF has gone I am good to go!
I'm obviously miffed it didn't happen for us this month but the thing that I am more upset about was all the symptoms I was getting making me think it had happened, so this month NO SYMPTOM SPOTTING!

Haha if it was only that easy. Doesn't mater how long you are ttc for, even if you having dtd that month and know there's no chance at all of getting a + test, we still symptom spot.

Oh gawd I'm going to be big and fat today, had cheese on toast for dinner and now a packet of maltesers has just attacked me. I swear they did!! They jumped out of the secret stash draw, opened themselves and jumped slowly in my mouth!

  • how early do you ladies start to test?
9dpo for me & I'm hoping I can hang on to 14dpo but as the days go back its looking less likely!
Not that I want to wish time away but please fast forward to 14dpo
