Oh no :( I hope you are able to make up. Makes me think of that Friends episode where Monica and Chandler are TTC. She is ovulating and they have a fight because he smoked. He doesn't want to have sex while they are fighting so she says she has forgiven him....then after they do it she tells him she is still mad and only pretended so they could catch ovulation! :rotfl: I am fully prepared to have some moments like that :o

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Totally Like that !!!!!
If you can think it........it will happen

 Just wrote a post then managed to lose it!!

Nothing to report here- cd35 and have a feeling its going to be another long cycle!! Ive been off the pill for almost 5 months with only one proper af!! I feel like all I do is wait around for af!!

Daisie- I personally think that as I am still fairly new to ttc that if the mood takes us and we fancy a bit every day then Im not going to not do it- ttc has to still be fun at the end of the day!!;):rotfl: So, I personally think that if you want to bd every day (because you want to, not because you feel you have to because you are ttc) then you should.

    Welcome Wine_night

Hugs to those who need one.
  • So I had my gynae appt today, 6 months ago I was told I'd be prescribed Clomid then if nothing had happened. Now they've decided I have to have a HSG and hubby a SA before they will give me Clomid. It makes sense but I wish they'd said this before & I could have got them both sorted before today's appointment. Booked Hubby's SA for 3rd February. They tolde the rules for sample collection, no sex 3 days before & sample has to be less than an hour old, I don't know why he needs an appointment there tho as he'll already gave his sample. Anyone have any experience?

Spoke to the x-ray dept regarding the HSG. Was told it's done at certain times in your cycle, I didn't know that. Has anyone had one? Is it painful? Did you go on your own or husband/partner go with you? I've booked another gynae appt for 4 weeks time, I'm hoping I can get both tests done in that time.

Have to admit I got really upset in the appointment today, think I thought today was going to really be the start of something happening & I know the tests make sense but it makes it all more real.

Hugs to those who need them! xxx

Oh, another question from me! (Sorry...)

Does anyone get ovulation pain? If so, can you describe what it is like and how you know that is what it is? I think I may have it, but I'm not sure how to tell and don't think I have ever had it before.

    Thanks!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Princess Kate at my hospital you are given appointment times for SA to drop it off so they are not inundated with loads on one day as they need to process it very quickly.
I had a hsg back in June & it wasn't the most pleasant experience but I did get pg that cycle, coincidence or not. DH came with me but I'd have been ok on my own tbh as he couldn't come in the room anyway x

Morning all, hope you get going with those test quickly Princess Kate.

CD1 For me please. AF arrived this morning. I just booked in to see the reflexologist I did when I got pg with DS1 - I figures that if it did contribute last time, fantastic, if not then I love having a massage anyway so it's a good excuse!

On a positive note I've found out we're going to be moving house this year which will be tres expensive as it's going from a rather small house to a rather big one so I will need to spend a lot on furniture. I work for family so I would plan to work right up to due date which in effect means another month of full pay now to spend on furniture!

    Thanks!

For me it felt like 'twingey' pain. Sometimes quite crampy and it would actually stop me for a second, it was really noticeable. Slightly off to the side - so I guess depending which side I was ovulating from.

Other months I would either barely notice it or not get it at all.

I knew what it was as it always coincided with my opks & temping. And normally a day or so after ewcm.

    Hi all,
Can I be updated to cd2.

princess Kate - I have now booked my HSG for end of January. My fs explained it for me before so I have some idea. I had to wait till first day of AF to call and make appt. Needs to be between day 5-25 I think.
You can't DTD at all before the test (don't want to run the chance of you being pg). They will ask you to do a pg test on the day to be sure.
I was given a suppository and antibiotics by my fs which I need to start on the morning of the appt.
They recommended that you have someone with you. The reason is everyone reacts differently. For some people it's just a little uncomfortable and for others it can be like really bad cramps (apparently). My friend did it and she said she was fine.
I hope you are able to get your appointment soon. I'm glad mine is finally booked in.

I'm having a bit of a week of anxiety - turning 35 on Friday, found more grey hair and no baby - I feel so sorry for my OH at the moment! Although I have now got to the point of laughing at myself now.

Hope you all have a good day.
