    Hey everyone,

Thanks for doing the list kellykins.

Not much to report, just waiting for ov and having some fun "practising" in the meantime.

Hope everyone is ok and that we start getting a run of BFPs very soon!

    Thanks for the lists kellykins.

I'm not even sure if I'm ovulating at the moment although I'm acting like a cow to DH so I might be lol just haven't noticed any ewcm lately. Meh getting over this now.

Hugs to everyone and baby dust to us all xx

I don't seem to get ewcm :( it really worries me as I wonder if I am just not ovulating. My cycles seem to be perfectly regular though which I think would be unusual if I wasn't ovulating? But extensive googling (I am obsessed) brings up loads of stories of women who don't get ewcm at all but still conceive. I get very wet and slippery cm (sorry tmi :o) but not stretchy stretchy ew stuff. I think I may have ovulated at some point in the last couple of days as I had very wet slippery cm and what I thought might be ovulation pain, but I am not doing any tests or temps or anything so can't be sure.

Stopping the cbfm and temping and so on was meant to make me less stressed....in a way I suppose it has a bit but on the other hand I am going crazy not knowing what is happening! Cm seems to have dried up completely now so I think if I did ovulate this month it has happened already.

Need to just try not to think about it all for the next couple of weeks...not sure how easy that will be!

Does anyone else not get ewcm, but know that they ovulate? I am really getting worked up about it despite trying not to get stressed :(

I am just going to take a stab in the dark and ask to be updated to 2DPO please kellykins. Not sure how accurate that is but nevermind.

Morning Ladies, hope everyone is doing OK?

Well it's a bit strange because yesterday I thought AF had arrived. I had a really faint bit of brown spotting (sorry if TMI) on Tuesday night once when I wiped, then nothing. Yesterday I had the same but it got a bit heavier (but still brown) and because I was due yesterday so I just assumed that was AF.

After I posted last night I checked again and it stopped and I've had nothing since! I feel crampy but not as strong as normal AF cramps and my back hurts which I think might be related but I've also been quite constipated so could be (again sorry for TMI).

Do you think there is just the tinest chance that it could be implantation? I think I'm 11DPO and AF was due yesterday. I've never had this brown spotting and stop start like this before that I can remember.

It could be, but we are not meant to be symptom spotting :p last month I actually had the same thing, got all excited that it could be implantation....and then af came two days later :( I suppose all you can do is wait and I hope it is good news for you! Everyone will probably shout at me for this but I would do a first response test if it was me. But maybe you will have more willpower! Good luck xx

I do get EWCM but not lots of it and tend to be quite erm "dry" in general. Anyway this month I took cough mixture after reading about it online, it has to be the chesty cough type and have a certain active ingredient. I can't remember the name but it begins with G and a bottle cost me £1.50 in tesco.

Anyway there is something in it that stimulates the mucus membranes and so it can really help with CM. I took it for about 4 days before Ov and it really did work, lots more CM!

I have read about that but also read on a 'myth busting about TTC' thing that it hasn't really been shown to help conception despite giving you more ewcm. Hmmm. But I will try anything! :rotfl: we do use conceive plus lubricant though so I am not sure how much difference it would make. I was more worried about the lack of ewcm meaning I was not ovulating at all, rather than worried that I am ovulating but don't have it. I think using the conceive plus goes some way towards solving that.

I have various bottles of cough syrup in the cupboard and I am off to peruse them now to see if any have that ingredient! :rotfl: see, I am so easily swayed, just yesterday I was reading about it not working but as soon as you say it did, I want to try it! :o

It's so hard not to SS isn't it?! Especially when it's something out of the oridinary. I was really upset last night coz I thought AF had arrived but then when it stopped it really cheered me up as I have the slightest bit of hope again lol.

It's probably my body playing tricks but I guess I'm not out until she arrives for sure. Part of me is glad to just have an extra cycle day this month, I'm never late and the last couple of months I've been a day early!
  • Morning,

Lailap - I haven't got any experience of this so cant help. Hopefully its good news though.

Daisiegg - I'm the same as you, I have never noticed any EWCM. But like you I have regular periods so must be ovulating. I have no idea if I have this month so im going with what my app says.

    Welcome Val :-)

Can I be updated for 3 DPO please.

    Thanks for the lists

I was exactly the same....I had spotting on Christmas Day evening, was devastated. Then nothing until a bit of spotting on Boxing Day evening....then nothing, started to think it might be implantation bleed - then af came on the afternoon after Boxing Day.:(

As for the cough syrup thing I just looked in my cupboard and I have some with the right active ingredient, so guess what I will be chugging next month! :rotfl:
