Still no af for me, I did a test this morning, although I knew what the result would be- a bfn!! Im really not disappointed by the bfn, just more that I think Im in for another long cycle!!

Thats why im stuck and confused, have took this morning, wondering if im storing them right or something equally daft! Might get another brand and give it another go thanks ttc xx

My OH just caught me doing a pregnancy test (red faced) he was so excited though bless him!!! He asked what the result was and I said I didn't know, he said give it here then I'll check with a big wide grin ( hand over face moment)

I'm going insane! Honestly daisiegg your slap wasn't hard enough!


I don't know why I've put myself through this considering I won't know if I ovulated until tomorrow:o

This is why I'm going insane so it's one of those cheap internet ones that you dip in, the control and test line popped up, I left it until all the colour went and now *if* I tip it in a certain direction there is a teeeeeeeeny 2nd line. It wouldn't show on a photo and my OH couldn't see it either so my eyes are clearly playing tricks on me.

I'm away to bed! It's the safest place for me until I get my result tomorrow!

Hi sedment,
I'm in a similar situation. Now 9 days late. Mild symptoms which could all be attributed to something else. Done about 8 different tests all negative. Even went to the doctors yesterday and was told to just wait and see. I'm not doing anymore tests. I'm assuming I'm not as I would imagine it would have shown positive by now.

Stop SS ladies Whilst I truly hope all of you who are getting symptoms are actually pregnant, I know how upsetting it can be if it turns out you aren't and you've convinced yourself you are. It's only 14 days for most from ovulating until you can test, I'm sure we can all wait that long

AF was extremely odd this month. Advanced warning of TMI!! Tuesday I think I had what you would call flooding, having to change every 10-15 minutes which still wasn't always often enough with loads of clots, also had diarrhea, felt sick and just generally exhausted. Yesterday just a tiny amount of light bleeding/spotting and today nothing, not even spotting :huh:


For those asking about spotting before AF I always start spotting at 12DPO and I have 3 days of spotting before AF turns up

I'm glad it's not just me who is symptom spotting and testing early!

AF is due this weekend (probably Saturday), sorry mixed up my dates in my last post. I have been convinced for the last few days that I am PG (amazing what you can find/imagine when you want to be!) and I decided that today I could not bear it any longer, I had to know if I am. Had some slight spotting over the last few days that I thought might be implantation.

So I did the test- BFN. It is two days before AF due so in theory there is a chance I could be, but from my previous experience I don't think this will happen. Will see if AF arrives this weekend and test again if not, but I think it will be a no :-(

It really is an absolute emotional roller coaster isn't it!

It really helps reading this board and knowing that I'm not the only one going through this. It can be quite a lonely experience as I haven't really told anyone else that we are TTC.

Can anyone recommend some reliable but cheap PG testing sticks? I use Clearblue normally but they are quite expensive at £5-£7 a go, especially if having a lot of BFNs!

Morning Ladies

So still no AF so this morning I woke up and did a test with an internet cheapie (wine_night, I got mine off ebay). Anyway I couldn't see a line so went back to bed.

I just got up an hour later and looked again and there is a line...but you aren't meant to do this are you? It's probably an evap line isn't it because I left it on the side?

Laila I'm pretty sure test results after a few minutes aren't reliable - can't remember the timeframe as I haven't tested in a while but I think 10-15 minutes...? So I would disregard. Did you wait a few minutes after you did it to see if you got a line or fall back to sleep? They can take a minute or so to appear I think, especially in the very early stages. Someone may well correct me on all that though!

Fingers crossed your BFP shows up for you soon. Not much to suggest other than waiting, sorry
