Kellykins, please can I be moved into the 'if in doubt bd' zone.

Bit confused here as I am using the cbfm for the first month. It requested a test on CD6 and came out low fertility - as expected. Then today (CD7) it requested another...and came out with high?! So confused, as my last two cycles have been 32 days long each and all signs indicate that I ov between CD19-21 ish. So surely I can't be fertile on CD7?! Anyway we are on holiday so we will be able to do lots of baby making just in case...but it feels a bit weird.

Hi Daisy Egg. Sometimes the CBFM does funny things... ive had a high for the past 9 days now - still no peak. i usually ovulate between CD20-CD30 - i dont usually start testing until CD 12-13 -( very MSE, no point wasting the sticks hey??) but i was surprised when i had my high on CD 12 (my first day of testing)- I was so excited, thinking i was gonna have a shorter cycle this month. But no CD21 now and still just high on my CBFM. So id probably just see what it does over the next few days.

Claretsgirl. So sorry to hear your awful news. please take care of yourself x x x x

Hugs princess kate, that must have been hard to hear. x x x

AFM - well as already said above - CD21 - 8 days of high on my CBFM! god knows whats going on! however i have lips full of coldsores, so im hardly gonna make my OH want to BD looking at these bad boys. (yuk!) instant turn off i think!

    Hugs to anyone else that needs them. x x x x x x

    Good evening everyone.
I will be rejoining this thread as we found out today that our baby unfortunately stopped growing at eight weeks. I would have been twelve weeks tomorrow. I am now awaiting a natural miscarriage but haven't started bleeding properly yet. I am a little bit scared to be honest. Does anyone know if that will be classed as CD1?
    Love to all. X

Biggest hugs we had this for my first mc . I choose to have an erpc. I would wait until your af arrives .... Some say from 1st day of bleeding ..... Take care xxxx
If you can think it........it will happen

Thanks Claire I thought it wouldn't make sense. The trouble is I don't know when I ovulate - the months I have had a positive it has varied - 26, 21, 24 - but then the cycles have also varied e.g the positive on cd26 had a cycle of 33 days, so either a short LP or incorrect. In my mind I am on CD14, so don't know whether to start again or not!

Now also got the added factor of having booked the test I have finally got a completion date for moving house - meaning I will need to change doctors anyway, so now am thinking should I just cancel and then when I change doctors tell them all the issues and rebook

Do you get any other signs? Are you temping or tracking cm? As that does seen a bit odd to get a positive so close to af.

Perhaps with the bleeding & moving house, start again next cycle and try a few combined methods to track ov?

Or, if you think you're cd14 now and you get a positive in say a week, do the test anyway.

If you are having problems ovulating at least having had the test done will get you into the system & your test results should still show up at the new drs.

Not temping and not tracking cm - not sure I know what exactly to look for - not really noticed anything obvious though, so not looking good for whether I actually do ovulate.

Thanks for the advice though, I may stick to the date booked to tick the box for that and then if it is pointless could put my theory forward saying that it was too soon in the cycle.

Ok well....hubby and I have made a scary (for me) decision. We are actually going to stop with the temping and the cbfm for a couple of months. I will still keep an eye on cf etc and we will just try to have sex every other day as much as possible.

I know we have only been trying for a month and a half but already I have been getting way too obsessive and finding the whole temping, cbfm, ovulation tests etc really stressful. And I know stress is the opposite of what we want! We have a big holiday to the US booked in April so we have decided if I am not pregnant by then, we will go back to all the temping and monitor etc after that.

I feel really scared by this decision as it feels like I am losing control, and I like to be in control! But at the same time, I was getting too obsessive and stressed so I think it is the right decision for now.

    Eep!

Am I right in thinking youve been ttc for 12 months if youre going to the doctors?

If so I would really read up on cm and start with that. Fertility friend has some good information on it. Its easy to do and will help you work out ov.

You could start temping if you want, some people find it easier than others, but I really liked it as it would confirm Id ovulated.

I would definitely use a 2nd method anyway as the positive opks aren't always corresponding with your AF. Also, its best to try to BD when you have fertile cm so its a good thing to look for anyway x

Daisieegg - I think considering you are still 'new' to ttc I think you are making a good decision. I don't think you have mentioned knowledge of any particular problems you are aware of so it a relaxed approach now may be for the best. Out of 2 of my friends who have had difficulty conceiving, by the time one was on the top of the list for IVF and the other about to start that next step both got pregnant as they had stopped thinking about it so much and felt it was out of their hands.

Claire- thanks for your all useful advice, will venture on to fertility friend and start reading up on it all. I still think it is crazy how I spent so long on the pill trying not to conceive and now finding it is so hard to actually get pregnant!

Will anyone who would like to be put on the front page please post your information:

Username (age - optional) TTC# ? Since when you started trying

For example, mine is Mrs_T_M (28) TTC #1 since 9/12

My name is in blue because my FF chart is linked to it. That's completely optional as well, but if you use FF and would like your chart linked to your name, please post the link to your chart as well! :)

    Thanks!

    Ladymagpie (23) TTC#1 since 8/13, on CD09 please add me! :)

Hello everyone! I'm finally 6 months post implant, everything should be settled down now. My cycles have been 27 days for the last 3 months so I think I'm into a routine. I haven't been temping or using ovulation sticks, just an app on my phone called "maybe baby". Coming up to fertile time now according to app. :)
