now he never stated you have a case did he. as what you stated in the previous post
    .

saying you may have a case and you have a case are totally different.

They may feel quite nervous if I approach them and it is common to send a
solicitors reply when people really need to feel some sort of acknowledgement
that a tragic or unfortunate mistake occurred and an apology would really help
    in this matter.

I am glad that you are open to this suggestion and I will make contact with you
    around November 11, 2013.

    my comment
He really sounds great guy. Apology from my vet would help but it did not happen.

Is he being "professionally cautious" or has he doubts that you have a solid claim? If you did employ him as a negotiator, is the vet going to willingly pay his fee for this service, as I don't believe the fee you've paid him would cover these extra costs.

its seems that he is keen to be a negotiator and he can get his fee from my ex vet for his service. Why would he suggest it if he did not think I have a solid claim? It is all so confusing now but I feel I can trust him

If he thought you had a solid case then he would not have stated

This would imply he has doubts.

I think the the best is to wait for his report on 11 of November. By the way I do have a legal cover in my house insurance

I suspect they would not touch this with a over lengthy barge pole.

I thought he had already did a report, or was his last report not what you wanted to hear, regardless you have contricted information in your last posts with the first one saying

I did not expect to hear from you until sometime in November so was happy to hear so soon and to hear that you feel I have a case to be resolved.
which is not what he stated, so you did not understand what he told you.

Its not a criminal court case, so it will fall to you to pay all his fees

You really need to 'wake up' and realise this so called one of only two in the world expert is going to want to be paid. From what you have said so far it's you who will be paying his bill.

It is worse than that. The difference is between
    • You have a case - meaning you have something on which you might win in court
    • You may have a case to be resolved - meaning you have something on which a court could deliver a ruling, not necessarily in your favour
What he has written are what is known as weasel words. They are so transparently obvious, that as and when you lose, there will be absolutely no comeback on him. He is promising you absolutely nothing other than to take your money and get a resolution, not necessarily in your favour.

It seems that one vet bled your dog to death and another is quite willing to bleed you to bankruptcy. If it could bring your dog back, it might be worthwhile to take the risk. And that is about the best anyone could say for this.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
