Ant been banned. Why would you say that dibble? And see above for people that arent "everyone".
Try reading a thread before humiliating yourself. You mates down the station would be rolling around at ya.
Stop being pedantic. It is always vapours that burn, rather than the item itself.
If petrol is lowered to the temperature where it doesn't give off vapours, then there won't be any vapours to be ignited. But this won't make any difference if it is a branded fuel, or a low quality supermarket fuel.
You should have paid more attention at school.
Is it your immaturity that makes you think it is funny to call someone a copper, who isn't??0 -

You don't agree it's the same standard though (before additives)?
I would say it is very likely to be exactly the same before the addition of the additive package.
As modern diesels have lots of sensors i think it is entirerly reasonable that some systems are more sensitive than others which might be why i have noticed this performance drop in Fords and also in my diesel V50 which has Ford/PSA mechanicals.
A friend did also report to me better fuel consumption on certain fuels in his 07 CR-V Cdti.
No extra smoke or noticable loss in performance that he noticed.
He does 20k a year going to work and back.
The best he found was Texaco i think.
He usually fills that tank then runs it to the fuel light and refills.
He never used to bother about economy but his last two cars have had mpg readouts!0 -

And what have we learnt today? Someone on the internet repeatedly says something they know very little about. This can be annoying.
Here endth the lesson.:D
My mate said what he said. I trust him. :money:0 -

Maybe you should stop then. I can assure you that I personally (not my mate) know more than you ever will about flammability.

Go back to school, as you are making yourself look rather silly, as other have also said.0 -

Leave it, Jamie, before he decides to buy a gallon of Tesco petrol and try to prove his friend right.
I know a lot would put it down to Darwin if that happens, but personally I'd prefer not to think I'd prodded someone into burning themselves to death like that - hence staying away from his ridiculous claims up till now0 -

It sounds like you consider him more of a mate, than he does you. He is extracting the urine out of you, and that is obvious for anyone with any intelligence to see. :rotfl:

Talking of learning your not doing well. Do you want to talk to the chap who told me? He IS genuine. End of.
Quick get the paddy wagon, theres a shout!:rotfl:0 -
