Anyone made cakes in their Breville toastie / sandwich maker?

no ive not made cakes in mine, but as a mince pie lover (see mince pie thread) ive often wondered if pastry would cook on it but never tried it.
I usually buy the pre rolled pastry from Tesco (also available in other establishments) and make one big pie/tart/turnover.
I wasn't sure if the breville type sandwich toaster would cook the pastry properly, (just checked and it is a breville) so ill give it a try next time:j
I know that you can cook puff pastry in it as there is a recipe for apple and sultana puffs in my old breville instructions, which says to cook them for 4 mins.0 -

On the machines I've seen, the squares look too small to hold a standard size slice. Which ones can hold normal slices of bread?0

I used the recipe from pinterest as the op linked to. I used it in our dount maker , it was lush, gonna use the rest in the sandwich toaster tomorrow. Will report backtoday's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.
